I certainly hope that's not the case. However, I imagine it was in all actuality a dramatic, high-profile flounce from the forum in response to receiving a two week suspension for unrepentant knucklehead behavior.

Hopefully future posters take note if they are going to post irresponsible trip reports

I agree the dose was a bit heavy, but you all seemed to have a good time, did you not? its a party drug if one sees it that way, from what I read you and youur friend took this serious. Just out of curiosity, were you saying goodbye forum or goodbye cruel world. It looked a bit suspicious to me that your tagline says deceased and your sig mentions death quite heavily too.

Either way glad everything's ok. Don't take stuff too seriously. I didn't read your experience report, too long for me just now, but whatever it is if it was a mistake or immature then learn from it and move on. Life is a learning experience.

I'm actually pretty disappointed in the all mods continual use of the words "dumb" and "stupid". It's one thing to kindly direct someone in the direction of safe tripping etiquette and safe choices (smoking an unknown plant) but its entirely a different story when the rules you uphold are being broken as you uphold them.

I don't think there ever was a single moment in where such negative behavior should Hve been used towards the OP for what his post included. A simple explanation of how his choices were extremely reckless and that this forum condones such behavior would have sufficed. Yet I saw continuous down talk and negative remarks being thrown around by the mods and I really don't appreciate that.

I respect everyone here, new and old. I myself have had to be put into place a few times by not paying close enough attention to the fact I was breaking rules. Truthfully atleast one of those times I was met with slight negative comments from a mod/mods. I think it's important for me to add, even if your are not meaning to come off as mean, using words in a context that is usually seen as putting someone down is negative and inappropriate, and against forum rules.

I would think that people would uphold such things just as much if not more than making sure you tell a new comer of his mistakes. I love all the mods and think there are no better choices than the ones we currently have but we all make mistakes and I would personally ask:

That the mods involved in bashing the OP apologize for there behaviors. I think it's only fair and I would expect anyone to ask the same of me when I slip up.

I agree, although there were some foolish actions mentioned in that post many who replied to it could have conducted themselves in a more appropriate manner. It really doesn't do any good to be so harsh to the person that may have fudged up a little, instead of learning a lesson and moving on they get upset and leave or completely shut down and don't respond well to the advice given.

The Nexus is a wonderful place to learn responsible use but instead the poster is going to be left with no guidance or potentially shotty info from the web and still be carrying out the same risky actions.

A lot of times I hear the Nexus being referred to as "elitist" and I can kind of see where they are coming from. It isn't like other forums where everyone is treated equally crappy, we pride ourselves on being respectful to each other but every once in a while someone will say something and they get reamed and called stupid or whatever. Can you see how this would make one feel like they had entered an elitist group and were being treated unfairly?

I don't feel as bad now, I was wondering the same thing. Either way, I am just glad it wasn't the goodbye cruel world possibility that someone mentioned. You never know how any individual will react to their emotions, and it would seem healthy for us to keep that in mind.
