One of my neighbours has become the victim of a serious crime. He was at a party, when he was suddenly attacked for no reason and almost beaten to death. His injury´s where so severe that he nearly lost one of his feet and he is likely to spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair. After this, the attackers have threatened to murder his childeren if he would go to the police.

Initially i didn´t even know that this had happened to him, until i watched it on TV as the incident has gotten a lot of media coverage in the country where i live.

This is because the attacker is a famous heavy weight kickboxer and K1 champion called badr hari. He has attacked dozens of innocent people on the street, but they usually don´t go to the police because of the death-threats, as this heavy weight champion is associated with organised crime (many professional fighters are, as they are good at collecting debths and so on, and usually have little functioning braintissue left halfway their career, to make rational decissions). The case is getting bigger and bigger as more and more cases of this egotistic moron beating up innocent people are coming to light and are being investigated. He is currently locked-up in a police cell, as long as the police is investigating all these cases of excessive violence.

I can very well imagine that shooting this retarded turd in the crotch with a riot-gun would be extremely, extremely rewarding. You would have to aim very well though, as this guy´s on steroids and his genitals must be almost the size of his brain by now. Maybe a little bigger as his brain can´t be much bigger than the size of a small insect.

steroids shrink the testes to the size of peanuts apparently, just bulk the muscle tissue.

I can understand your feelings about that guy, and hope some justice occurs.

I heard about this awhile ago, not the first time badr does stupid shit like this, anyway this time he is def doing time i supose...

Its sad and embarising for martial arts in general when a top5 fighter acts like a freakin maniac hurting people for no reason, esp embarising for the organises who actually gives him a job even though he has done similar stuff in the past.

Hope they make a statement and send him away for a long time and he gets gangbanged in jail.

The best advice I can give you is to try and push the hate outside of your heart and focus on being there for your neighbour, as I'm sure he really needs a friend at the moment. Nothing good can come from hate so please try and cultivate compassion for yourself and your neighbour. I'm truly sorry to hear about this tragedy, I'm wishing you and your neighbour nothing but peace and kindness...

DMT has helped me learn that people don't EVER get away with anything they do that is wrong.
Eventually...it comes time to pay the piper. A lifetime may seem like forever to us but to "them" a human lifespan is like one day.

Woe to such a person in the afterlife, for it is better that they had never been born at all. You can bet your boots that there are plenty of hyperspace "bullies" waiting for the untimely arrival of mr. badr hari. I would not like to be a flea under his collar on that day.

Whenever some great injustice pisses me off to an extreme degree I just try and keep in mind that ultimately vengeance belongs to the creator, not because the creator is greedy but because NO ONE can dispense justice like the Creator. Of course that is just my opinion.

And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

"Don't say hate, hate is a very powerful word!" - Something I've heard a lot of people say throughout my life.

Hate is a natural human emotion. If you ask me, there is so much to hate in this perceived illusion we occasionally exist in and call "the world." It's like being honest with yourself, rather than just beating around the bush and pretending certain things are OK. You can also choose not to focus on it, and use this powerful emotion that lurks in the background as a kind-of fuel. If you don't, it just destroys you, like a forest fire hollowing out the tree of who you are. O the bags under your eyes form like smokestacks in the sky. Apparently this is natural, and perfect all the same.

We the people are the pieces of this culture. Not only do we enable this leech by participating in it's existence, but that is what we are and have become right along with it. More and more people are born and trying to cram within the confines of this unethical, bankrupt, corrupted and dying attempt at stability. Cancer can't even keep up with us. Generation after generation sees and feels this more clearly than the last. More and more we hear of and see instances like you are describing, polytrip. All of the little pieces that we are can feel the whole of the conscious web vibrating along the seams and rising exponentially until?

I'm not sticking around to find out. I can't take it any more. I absolutely refuse to be a part of this.
Chasing dollars like tails straight to the grave, or sucking on the teet of the leech that is effectively destroying this sector of our reality. Have fun with that.

Sure thing. I simply despise civilization. I always have. The older I get, and the longer I live inside of it, the more I see my surroundings struggle to adapt, and I do as well. The more I learn of ethics and the possibilities that exist outside of this paradoxical game, the more I let go of the notion that I need to be a part of it. I'm just over it. I am not speaking about death I am referring to self-sustainability. I believe culture is sick and dying, I know many will not agree or think I am being negative, but that's just the way I see it so I felt like telling it how it is from the window of my eyes. Like I said, hate can be a fuel, and I used it to pave a pathway to a better life.

I relate. It's just so hard to tame. Hate is in the antipodes of love, and if our mind is round, that makes it just as intense. But drawing from its energy seems the only reasonable thing to do when you cannot ignore it. And I cannot either.

So I don't know if that type of mental judo is what some people do at first - people that have managed to not be hateful and still be able to love. They do experience hate, but simply don't act on it, and eventually it becomes a passenger feeling, it's them who drive.

But I guess you have to hate first. You cannot be brave if you haven't been scared.

I´m already feeling a lot better now that i have shared this thing with you people. I don´t try to fight my anger, because i would loose. I just try to distance myself from it. I´m still feeling this hate, but i am better able not to go with the flow of it.

The fact that my neighbours childeren where threatened realy is the thing that just made me feel sick with anger.
And the fact that these type of people; little men who think they´re big guys, just aren´t capable of ever getting it: it´s not respect that other people have for them. They think they can get away with everything and that this proves how fantastic they are.

But it´s over with this guy anyhow. He has worked for the maffia and he constantly has to talk to cops Shocked : bad for busines. I´ll be happy to hear when his body turns-up on the bottom of a river. They won´t be calling him 'the golden boy' then.

But anyway..benzyme: i have seen 'the dark knight rises' so i know what happens to vigilantes Very happy Very happy (i don´t want to spoil it for those who haven´t seen it yet but: the best action movie ever, but ironically not so much because of the action)

If someone would clean up this stinking pile of shit, i would definately not be against it. The justice system (especially the dutch judicial system) is way too mild for these type of persons.

I don´t drink alcohol, but if he get´s whacked, i´m gonna open a bottle of champagne with my neighbour, that´s for sure.

My sisters childeren are in the same class as my neighbours daughter and when they where paying him a visit, he told my sister that the retarded babboon has even asked the police to temporarily cancel his custody for a major fighting tournament!!!!! He doesn´t even seem to realise that he has done anything wrong.

He even has had his name registrated as a brand name, because he thinks he is such a big star and he wants to put badr hari soap, badr hari towels and other badr hari stuff on the market...this intellectual cockroach seems to think that he´s some kind of god.

It´s just unbelievable how totally rotten and evil some people are. In my view he realy deserves to have his peanut-sized balls cut-off with a blunt rusty saw.

House- good luck with that self sustainability thing. We moved to the woods in ''96 with those intentions but somehow never could afford the solar panels, ended up with a way longer trip to the store. Animals are beautiful but they will destroy your food crops. Living off the land is so far beyond full-time; it's all-consuming. It is indeed a devil's bargain to participate in a society that allows us to gain free time and convenience at the cost of being part of this big ugly thing. I totally get where you're coming from, though, and wish you the best in finding your serenity.

But I don't mean to hijack the thread here.

Anger and hate are indeed natural, and we sometimes need to feel these emotions. But dwelling on it can be unhealthy, kind of like keeping your vomit in your mouth instead of spitting, rinsing and moving on. Anger is blindness; Star Wars got it right in saying that it's the path to the dark side. I resonate with Aegle's post; showing support and community for your neighbor is far more constructive than expressing hate for this violent little turd.

Yes. You and eagle are absolutely right. But it´s a struggle to distance myself from it. The only way to be succesfull at it, is to keep trying.

There´s a lot of very bad stuff going on on this planet. Like in syria for instance. Normally you automatically sort of distance yourself from all of that. But when childeren are involved it all hit´s you so much deeper.

When the TV shows pictures of dead syrian childeren, then suddenly everybody wants the UN or NATO to do something about it, even when they know that it would be practically impossible to interveine or that it could worsen the situation.

When childeren are involved in it, it all becomes so much more difficult to keep it cool and to keep thinking rationally. I know i should, and i´m trying. But it´s just a little harder. Especially when it´s about someone you know.

My sister´s childered are playing with his daughter. If someone would ever think of doing something to them....i wouldn´t care to go to prison for the rest of my life.
But luckily that isn´t the case.

I´m thinking about something to give to my neighbour. Maybe i´ll make him a dreamcatcher or something.

That's a really beautiful idea... I understand it isn't easy but the only way to absolve pain and suffering in the world is when we are challenged to muster up all our strength and courage and respond with love and compassion. It truly is the only way to change the world and that's through changing ourselves. I'm sending you lots of strength and courage my friend as these are incredibly challenging times but it also gives us a potent opportunity to grow and flourish.
