Hello fellow Nexians.

I recently inherited a little less than $3,000. And wanted to put aside half of that so I can make my room look better.

Any suggestions?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I'd enhance my psychedelic trips by putting one of these in my room:

Perhaps some crystals? Maybe a mind machine would suit your fancy. I have the Proteus model, and it's been a great investment.

I'm also working on a tripping room. I have a spare bedroom thats getting cleaned out in the next couple weeks and I plan on making an Indian/middle eastern style hookah lounge theme. Giant floor pillows for seating. Smaller pillows and cushions all around for maximum comfort (I tend to spend the majority of my shroom journeys on the floor) and beautiful tapestries on all 4 walls. A small low table in the middle for the hookah/GVG/whatever. Some blacklights. And that's about as far as I got so far. Might get some crystals for a small shrine/altar. Can't wait till its all set up.

Ah! How could I have forgotten plants. Anyone know of some good indoor plants? The room doesn't get too much sunlight.

Replace your lightbulbs with blacklight bulbs. Get some really furry blankets and pillows. Get a good set of speakers and a lazer light show that hooks up to it. I have the z2300's they have a great sub for $100 but there is probably an updated model. get some lava lamps and one of those lights that produce electricity. I've got these glow in the dark stickers that I put on my ceiling. Also if your into it Dream catchers and door beads are always cool. As for the atmosphere good circulation feels nice when your under a furry blanket. Incense is also good, it smells good and watching the smoke rise is always trippy. Try and find some trippy rugs. I have this town rug for little kids but when ever Im high I feel like I'm Godzilla.

I've always wanted to try growing bonsais from seed but it seemed like so much work. Maybe I can find an already growing one on amazon or something. Also I think one of those big leafy plants you always see at malls and such would be nice. I'll have to find a plant nursery around my town and get some advice.

Bonzai plants are a major pain to take care of. You'd be better off going to a local nursery and picking out a plant that just seems to resonate with you.

"blackout curtains, thats all you need"

Couldn't agree more! Psychedelics and consumer products just never had much of a synrgy for me.

Sunglasses are amazing in a dark/ semi darkened room.

Aromatherapy oil redd diffusers. I love teak oil, smells great.

Sage/Smudging Incense

rattle/ djembe/ native american flute if your musical

I want this but without the water and just a bed in it.. That would be awesome for tripping. I'd probably drown if I jumped into a water filled iso tank like that and blasted off haha.

Musical instruments?

I have a tripped out room, but in retrospect getting all this crazy shit, although great for a while, isn't the be-all end-all by any means... it's kind of a pain to take care of all this cool stuff now.

Make it look comfortable... but cluttered gets on the nerves after a while.

I'd really like to design a minimalist sorta room for meditation.
I would want it to be a white half dome top with the walls slightly lifted up off the ground.
It would have a memory foam floor and color changing LEDs would be circled behind the walls to give an ambient feeling radiating from the bottom of the room.

I would dedicate the room purposely to meditation and psychedelic experiences.(and probably sleeping too)

My own goals aside, I think minimalism is a really great way to go. Maybe the question should not be what to put in your room but what not to put in it.
