Hyperspace. Contact. Death and spirit flying over time and matter. Transmission. Karma is obvious. Heaven experienced. Coming back. I feel calm and detached. Problems seem to be unnecessary and originating in my own mind.
When I read about experiences of drugs that I haven't tried I don't feel like I really understand. Somehow, with DMT, the case is different. Am I fooling myself?
Is there a link between those two states of mind?
I'm going to take Changa soon so I want to start this thread before I will know the answer.

Until you try dmt, you won't understand dmt. Black then white are all I see in my infancy. Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me, lets me see. There is so much more and it beckons me to look though to these, infinite possibilities. As below so above and beyond I imagine, drawn outside the lines of reason. Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

"Problems seem to be unnecessary and originating in my own mind." i get a feeling like this often when low dosing spice (which i find very healing and meditative), or just on the comedown of a bigger dose. I see how i should put in a great effort to fix problems-pertaining to myself or the world-and how serious they are in a sense..but also how they are also basically constructs of our minds which we often take waayyy to seriously, and how worrying about them wont help..i get an overwhelming feeling that its all going to be perfectly fine and as it should be, so theres no reason to worry or take it too seriously. We can play the game even better with love, hope, humbleness, than we can with fear and anxiety.

Salvia and DMT are VERY different experiences. Knowing sally won't give you any ideal of what DMT is like. Though salvia can teach you to let go which will definitely help prepare you for a DMT launch. Its the MeICNU

Is it only aesthetics or is it something deeper? Till the breakthrough it seems quite similar with similar phases.

I've encountered an entity i originally met on a salvia journey through dmt but besides that i see almost no similarities between a dmt and salvia breakthrough besides the fact that they are off the wierdness scale

I just recently had a DMT trip that felt just like Salvia...
I was literally snapped and bent until my body was in the shape of a cube. When I came out of the breakthrough, my nervous system got confused and tried to physically put my body into the position it thought it was in. Never got so disorientated from DMT before.
I thought I was lined up next to a whole other host of aliens who had also been squashed into cubes and we kept looking at eachother from are own storage spaces...
very strange :s

Would be okay that DMT and salvia are similar in regard to it's world-shattering strength? I mean, I haven't encountered any substance that would be as intense as salvia.
Seriously, I had very intense psychedelic trips from mescaline, psilocybin and LSA but non of it had ever made me breakthrough to the other dimension. Any thoughts?

Salvia and Dmt are both mindblowing 100% natural drugs. I love them both but i would say i' more scred to take salvia due to the get up and walkabout aspect of sally, imo that's what makes sally dangerous to an extent.

Sadhaka wrote:Is it only aesthetics or is it something deeper? Till the breakthrough it seems quite similar with similar phases. For me it's both different aesthetics (DMT is much more beautiful if we were just doing a beauty contest), as well as something deeper. A breakthrough on DMT for me is much more profound than a breakthrough on salvia. For me, salvia invites more confusion that I knew was possible. I know that if I'm looking to get just downright silly-confused, all I need is salvia. DMT provides preserves my ego as I plunge the depths and I always know what's going on. By that I mean that I may not understand the vision that's being presented to me, but at least I know who I am, that I just smoked some DMT, I know what DMT is....Salvia for me is extremely dysphoric. The kinesthetic feelings are beyond weird and uncomfortable and most of the time I don't even know what's going on. I have no idea that I just smoked salvia, or even if I can remember I smoked something called "salvia", I have no idea what it does (even though it's happening in its fullest at that very moment). DMT is far more euphoric, lucid and profound (for me). "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein

In my opinion Salvia is a cold soulless trip and DMT is a warm soulful trip. Salvia is very dissociating in a nasty way and people experience terror, confusion and horrible body sensations like being folded up and ripped apart.
Not saying all people will have a negative Salvia experience but i can tell you i always have and everyone i've seen do it 20-30 multiple times.
as for DMT i've never seen anyone have a bad exp, only one time and it wasn't even bad they just looked lost and crazed and couldn't remember anything.

as for DMT i've never seen anyone have a bad exp, only one time and it wasn't even bad they just looked lost and crazed and couldn't remember anything. Iโve used both salvia and DMT hundreds of times each. Iโve always had a positive relationship with salvia. It can be as intense as DMT, but it has its own unique nature. I definitely donโt find salvia to be โcoldโ or โsoullessโ. Salvia is rarely euphoric โ itโs mostly emotionally neutral โ but it feels very โhumanโ to me. The entities I encounter on salvia journeys are almost always human โoften people I know in consensus reality. Salvia often feels like a โparallelโ world beside our own. Other times it feels like a โworld in my headโ. Thereโs often a feeling of homecoming. DMT is much more emotional โ Iโve felt the full range of human emotions at one time or another while in hyperspace, and a few emotions Iโve never felt before. DMT is also much more alien โ not of this world. It can be very deeply spiritual or sacred. In general terms, I think of the salvia realm as being very close and strangely familiar, while the DMT realm is very distant and unfamiliar. If youโre unaware of the possibility of a bad experience with DMT, then you havenโt read enough experience reports on this site or elsewhere. Almost everyone who has used DMT long enough and at high enough doses to learn its full โpotentialโ often approaches DMT experiences with a good amount of anxiety. There are times where I was all ready to launch, but aborted the journey because of fear/anxiety. This never happens with salvia. gibran2 is a fictional character. I am fully aware of the possibility of a negative experience on DMT, what i'm speaking from is my own experiences. I fully understand some people like Salvia but if everyone just posted how nice is it and as you say human when i think it's the most horrible alien experience of my life then the true facts of these substances wouldn't come out (everyone reacts different).
The first time i did Salvia was the most terrifying experience ever, and the times i redid it it was pretty much the same terror and fear but i smoked less so wasn't as bad. Literally for 30-40 minutes after i was scared for my sanity and never have i felt such a thing from any drug and I've tried many psychedelics.
Anyone my point is i'm fully aware negative experiences can happen on anything from Alcohol to Nitrous oxide (i've had bad trips from nitrous oxide yet before i had them i'd never imagine them possible with such bliss it produces)

I'm happy to see someone with a positive attitude towards salvia and vice versa. The main reason why I'm eager to try DMT is it's relationship with music that I'm loving so much: psychedelic trance. I'm looking for both visual and philosophical inspiration when approaching art. Salvia experience is mostly beautiful and only once I had bad experience when I was throwing pillows at my former girlfriend.
[Explanation or rationalisation: I was mad and irritated. It was a bad time in my life and I was "tested positive" for having a quite strong astral parasite. Still, it turned out that this girl was seriously unstable emotionally and it was very painful and psychically draining relationship. In certain situations I still dream about her but I'm happy that it's over. I think that MAYBE salvia showed something about this girl and that's the reason why I had aggressive behaviour aimed at her.]
Other then that, I've never experienced anything unsettling. When I smoke salvia alone I always lay down. I never stand up and move around. I feel perfectly safe when I enter the salvia-space. The problem is that I must force myself to smoke it. But I love salvia's visual side. I love her visions and messages that I'm receiving. The afterglow is beautiful and I find high therapeutic effects when I'm in a bad mood. Plus, it keeps going for a day or two. Salvia seems very euphoric to me. Sorry for this off-topic but I felt obligated to defend this plant. It is really magical. I place her over LSD and mushrooms but I'm not sure about ergine or mescaline. Both latter substances are very healing.
That's why I'm looking forward to trying Changa. I've heard lots of good information about it. I know that it originated in Australia, probably inside psychedelic trance circles. DMT seems to be more fractal, mechanical, colourful and cybernetic. It would fit psytrance ideally. But I want it to be at least as powerful as salvia, especially that I'm not into trying salvia any more. It's an advantage over other drugs because it doesn't steal your mind and soul. You just don't treat it as a drug. All who do so have bad experiences.
Sorry for a bit long post, maybe too much off-topic.

I agree. Salvia's visuals for me are very often 2D. Very beautiful and at times significant, but nonetheless, they lack the sheer detail that DMT visions have. I have had my fair share of positive salvia experiences, but upon encountering DMT, I realized that Sally D just wasn't cutting it so much for me anymore. "Science without religion is lame. This is exactly how I feel about salvia! It is such an intimate familiar experience. It can also seem very serious, as in I'm getting myself into some serious business doing this! I think thats why I really haven't done much salvia lately. DMT is another story completely. I'm never sure quite what to expect from it. It has sent me on a carnival ride through a crazy warped version of my living room. It has transformed a forest into an Enchanted Wood full of ancient magic. It has sent razor sharp precision alien cutting machines into my eye! It has sent me soo far outside this reality that nothing made any sense, space-time was meaningless. My position, orientation and physical structure did not have a location nor did I seem to exist in any "space". DMT has also shown me pure spiritual bliss on a level I never imagined possible. I've had many very stunning and intricate visuals on salvia, mushrooms and LSD but I have yet to meet anything that can touch the visual quality of DMT. Its the MeICNU
