"Unetlanvhi" or great spirit of my old lineages beliefs. My grandmother's father was of a Cherokee bloodline, and I grew up with a instinct yearning towards the spiritual/religious/and Divine.

As a child I was a "Dreamer", with dreams as vivid as reality- Some seeming to last as long as a lifetime. And this was an every night ocurrence. This went on until I was 10. (Dont write this next part as a "story"Pleased Around June 2001 I had a very vivid dream which included terrorizing screams, scorching hot flames of engulfing fires, and a huge plane. This dream caused so much discomfort to me for the following months. I fought sleep, afraid of it. And then on September 11, 2001 my dream became a reality. Sitting in homeroom class in fourth grade.

That day terrorized me. So much I trained myself subconsciously to never dream again.

Now as an adult, I yearn for my dreams. I've researched many different mythologies, religions, traditions, civilizations searching for an answer to my dilemma. Along with books on lucid dreaming, meditation, and becoming one with myself.

Yet nothing...

I'm here to hopefully open my mind back up to the enhanced state I grew up knowing. If not an enlightenment sense of the universe. To fill the voids of self with understanding.

But I didn't get here on my own. Its almost as if I was called. I came across the nexus in my search. Then became entanced with the talk of hyperspace and the entities. And everytime I look at dmt artwork I find my spirit being pulled closer to world beyond my reach.

But not for long.

I got my setup and plan to do a STB Extraction (based on norman's tek) SOON! Within 14days. And I will be making a 1ml:1g pg/dmt vape juice.

I know vaping in and out (used to make my own eliquids), so it seems only logical to use my knowledge in that area to help my endeavors.

I've attached a picture of my setup.

Any guidance or insights are welcome. But please note I do plan on breaking through first go. I dont know how to explain this yearning to breakthrough, but all I know good or bad I need it to happen.

On my vaping setup I'm running a ni-chrome 0.23 ohm single coil rated between 60-80watts on (operating at 65w) in my dual wotofo recurve RDA ONTOP my Revenant Delta 100w (regulated) squonk mod.

I'm so glad to finally be here on the nexus and no I will not misuse knowledge or information gained here or in my journey

I believe I will as well, but I'm curious did you feel a calling to use DMT when you first used? Or was it strictly a simple choice? Is what I'm feeling normal?

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

For some odd reason that makes perfect sense. Thank you

Unetlanvhi, I think that dmt can be very useful for exploring dreams. The mental state that I experience after imbibing harmala+jurema teas very much resembles a sort of enhanced waking dream state.

One question for you. Are you solely interested in dmt or have you considered trying the beta-carboliine harmala alkaloids? I confess that I am quite ignorant about vaping or smoking dmt, but in the traditional ayahuasca brew and in ayahuasca analogues the harmala alkaloids not only prevent the dmt from being broken down by mao-a, they also affect the nature of the experience. Harmine and thh in particular are abundant in caapi vine and are valued in part for the dream imagery they can produce. The images are shadowy thus the dmt, which many call the "light", helps to illuminate them, but they themselves have intrinsic value.

If you are interested in dreams I recommend you research the harmala alkaloids in caapi vine. There are many cautions that must be heeded regarding diet and interactions when using maois like the harmalas! Also, as I said, I know very little about smoking or vaping, so you should seek guidance about whether harmalas have any role in that from other, more experienced/knowledgeable people on here.

Good luck to you, and please do keep us posted about what you learn!

I actually do plan on doing an ayahuasca tea soon as well. As long as certain things work out. I'm hoping they do. But I figured this way limits physical discomforts. And for now is more accessible for me.

I will (hopefully) with my setup and 1000mg/ml eliquid be able to reach a 50mg dosage in one nice sized inhale.

Fingers crossed 🤞

As for physical discomforts, indeed the harmala alkaloids can cause some. In many posts on this site I have seen the advice to start with a very low dose and gradually work upward. I couldn't agree more. I think this might be even more true for peganum harmala, aka Syrian rue, than for caapi vine. Perhaps this is because of the higher percentage of harmaline compared to harmine and thh?

In my experience 2g of the rue by itself had no discernible effect. When I tried 5g there was a very discernible effect, mainly a mild sedation that gave me a dreamy "spaced-out" feeling. I experienced some visual effects, mainly a strobing in my peripheral vision when I turned on a light or walked from a dark room into a well-lit one. There was also an oddly disconcerting bodyload, somewhat reminiscent of feelings I have had during fevers but milder: minor lilliputian tactile hallucinations, for instance my fingers felt incredibly long and thin then absurdly short and fat. It was very odd, but not painful or frightening, just odd. It wasn't constant either but would come and go. Needless to say I decreased my dosage when I combined with jurema: I use 3-3.5g rue (ground up, simmered 3X, then filtered and reduced) which seems sufficient without physical discomfort, but then YMMV so starting low always a good idea!

I appreciate your advice in the area of brews. I will be using the caapi vine in my brew, that is when I get the opportunity to have the mimosa and vine at my disposal. But I will be simmering 3 times as you stated with the Syrian rue. Not sure the exact ratio to start with the caapi/mimosa brew but when I pursue my brew, I'm going to be sure to do my RESEARCH here on the nexus. ALOT of experience in this matrix of reality and insight. Learning alot just speaking with you.
