Just to preface this I am brand new to DMT, and I'm trying by best to learn all I can about it. I recently extracted about 0.25 grams of freebase using Noman's Tek and am planning on having my first experience within the next month or so.

I regularly consume cannabis using a vape, and one of the less used vapes I have is a Flowermate V5.0S. This vape has three temperature settings (195°C, 205°C and 212°C) and from reading this forum and others it seems that the lowest setting of 195°C might be about right to use for DMT, am I right in thinking this?

It also comes with a liquid capsule meant for use with concentrates and wax which seems perfect for this use also. Here's an example of someone using different vape to do this (although they do it at 150°C): https://www.dmt-nexus.me...px?g=posts&t=63439.

Sorry I don't have an answer, I just wanted to say that I've been wondering the same thing. The research that I've done seems to point towards 150-160 degrees being the best, but if your Flowermate works out I've love to know, I don't have a vape and I want to know which one will work for DMT.

Tried it, doesn't work all too well. I measured out 35mg of the spice and put it in the liquid capsule in the flowermate and set it to the lowest setting, making sure to cover the mouth piece between hits to make sure non escaped.

It was difficult to draw on as there is little airflow, therefore leading to smaller hits. This meant that even after 5 or so hits I only had minor visuals and some sound distortion that would best be described as vibrating. Going to try another method instead.

Im using my flowermate the following way:
Im using the dab drums with cellulose inside. I fill them with my dmt then add them to the vape. I then preheat the dmt to 140c and leave it to heat up a bit. Then i bump the temp to over 200 and start taking the hit once the temp goes over 180-190. Its a bit complicated yes but this way you can guarantee that you get "big hits" and not just tiny puffs. I also just keep hitting till my lungs are full. But just before they are full i turn the vape off so i dont burn no dmt.

If you wanna be on the safe side you can vape around 170-190 but i always feel like i dont get enough dmt out of the vape if i dont set the temps higher.
Also you dont really need to worry about burning the dmt as long as you hit the vape. But i would never leave a vape with dmt on the heat for long times. Dmt is way more fragile than weed when it comes to temps. And even just a vape at 190c for a few seconds without hitting it will turn the dmt into a harsh smoke.
