Quote:I dragged for about 5-7 seconds, held in for a little bit longer than that, and repeated this process for about five hits before my cheap vape pen shorted out. Every hit I take made me feel like I was closer to, something? It was an odd feeling to describe. I was looking at the TV, my phone, and my laptop as I usually do and I just became perplexed with the idea of being focused on so many things. It finally felt like everything I was focusing on melted together in the same spot in my head. At this point I wanted very much to continue, but my cheap pen had shorted out like one before it.
From the sound of it your vape pen isn't good enough. Make some enhance leaf 50/50 and smoke 60mg (= 30mg DMT) in a water bong. Go easy on the fire. Hold breath for +10 seconds, Three hits will get all in. Or buy a e-vape device which does work such as the VV mesh RDA. Then you'll have a proper experience.
Quote:After about half an hour when the haze has cleared, I feel oddly sober. I've been working often the past few months and smoking weed in between and I've either felt high or hazy every second I've been awake until now. My head feels clear for the first time in months. At the same time I'm frustrated I will have to wait to feel this again.
The reason I don't smoke weed is cause it causes me to feel foggy headed. The feeling accumulates the more times I smoke. And slowly passes away when I stop. It feels like my mental abilities downgrade. Slower, less snappy, worse memory. I've talked to people who have the same. I guess everyone has it to some extend, but some people are more sensitive than others. I'm one of those. Lack of sufficient sleep also has this effect on me (waking up early for work etc), but only last until I catch up on sleep again.
I've suffered from heavy brain fog for more than a year during my teen years after mucho drug use partying, mainly mdma and weed. It was no bueno. Hard to think, decrease in intelligence, impaired memory, disconnected from reality. Couldn't remember more than a couple of sentences back, neither my internal thought trail. Got me depressed.
One night I meditated, fell asleep during, awoke with an huge electric shock through my brain and white light. Bang I snapped out of it, was super sober and clear headed in one instance. The clearness stayed. Really glad this happened.
Two years ago I took some designer Ketamine type substance that lasts around 4 hours. Gave me foggy head. Didn't go away. Felt negative and down. Took some pharmahuasca. Bang, same thing happened: electric shock and I snapped out of it. Felt uplifted and good again.
Now I'm careful. I only use Tryptamines such as DMT, LSD, Shrooms. And some other things like Peyote and 5meo-dmt occasionally. It feels these make my head clearer. Feels healthy. Like my brain resets /recovers. That's why I only use these substances and nothing else, other than an occasional social drink to get tipsy (and not beyond).
My advise to you: moar dmt, less weed.
Quote:At the same time I'm frustrated I will have to wait to feel this again. fault I haven't reached the height of what this offers. The entire time I was actually in the waiting room I just had the feeling I wasn't doing any of this right or preparing. I'm not on any medication and I haven't been using any substances but weed and nicotine the past few months. I did this tired and on a full stomach. Should I wait until I'm very awake and my stomach is empty?
Yes don't be tired and don't have a full stomach. But it's also about set and setting. Smoking DMT while casually watching a movie is not the best way. It ain't weed. Instead, take some time and effort to prepare a proper ceremony. This can be which ever way you see fit. For example mediate for 30 min. Light some incense. Create a comfortable place to sit. Choose some nice music. Give it time attention focus and love. You will get it back in return.
Note: the waiting room is in the other dimension. Don't thnk you/ve reached it fully yet. You will know when you do. Not everyone does, some go straight to hyperspace.
