Unfortunately DMT extraction won't work well for psiloc(yb)in.
That's because it will become negatively charged at high pH, and it can degrade at high pH. It can also degrade during exposure to light and air. The air degradation is a big issue since that is what a lot of home experiments use.
That being said, we have been able to get a clean MS signal crashing psilocin with FASA out of Xylene. Before that, the psilocin was moved into the Xylene from an water extract that was made highly ionic using ammonium sulfate. Unfortunately, yields were low and the process is cumbersome and stinky - not recommended.
Currently we are doing some work using cation exchange resins (available over the counter in the consumer market as water softeners). So far it is very promising, and that work continues. We also want to test |
High Pobability of Braindamage by Creepy non tested Drugs (forced by scammer 69ron) | as a way to stabilize the molecule during the air dry - otherwise a more complex drying method may be needed (freeze vacuum dry or inert atmosphere).
The nice thing about the cation resins is that if it works it can be useful for many things.
- DMT extraction without solvents.
- Simpler rue extraction, which can recover Harmalol also (which is air sensitive).
- Separate chlorophyll from salvinorin
- Bufotenin
- Going back to mushrooms, ion resin could remove ternary ammonium compounds that could cause wood lovers paralysis.
- Mescaline isolation
So a lot of promise, but we need to work on it to see if any good results can be achieved.
