Greetings one and all.

To jump into my story and what's lead me here: Ibogaine saved my life a little over nine years ago. After many years of battling an opiate addiction, I communed with the root and welcomed the plant spirit. Since then, I haven't had so much as an urge to return to something that utterly controlled and almost destroyed me for almost two decades.

Since then, I have journeyed with two or three times a year via a local shaman group / "church." I believe it's been with Mother Ayahuasca, but it hasn't been tea - it's been either capsules, or a powder stirred into in a pineapple juice drink, or chocolates.

For various reasons including that what were once voluntarily donations are now mandatory and far more important to the group leader and have increased heavily (and the associated change in the whole vibe and energy), a couple of us have begun looking into the legal ways that we might begin our own group without a high triple-digit collection plate being passed. So, I'm not sure of the legalities, but intend to find out here.

The journeys we've had -- that I've had -- have been life-altering. As much as Iboga saved me a decade ago, the continuing growth and insights I've had since then have been... I don't know what to call them: life changing, enlightening, self-realization, merging with the divine spirit...there's really no words to describe it.

So, the trek has lead me here.
