When I was four or five years old I realized that, at least in silence, I was either speaking or thinking.
Four or so years later I was reading incessantly, the Harry Potter books, ranger's apprentice, maximum ride, Percy Jackson, the enders game series, and so on. I remember at one point realizing that I was having multiple simultaneous thoughts at once and began to count them. 1) the words I was reading 2) analysis of these words, computation and comprehension 3) the images and sounds simulating what the words were saying 4) the realization that I'm aware of all of these thoughts separately 5)I am now counting the types of thoughts I'm having
There were I think two or so more layers of thought, I just don't remember exactly what they were and I'm not gonna lie to you man.
at twelve my mother died, I had thought it was a nightmare, not consciously, I didn't think "this is a nightmare" Im not capable of that level of cognitive dissonance. it was more a notion than a thought, as in the twelve years prior every time something beyond a certain level of awful had been a nightmare. I remember thinking "I can't wait to wake up". the thought swirled for a moment, then turned into a realization that I would not be waking up from this.
I went to live with my grandmother and cousins, I learned over the next few months that some old People place no value in the minds of young people.
At 15 I got high for the first time, on weed. violently high, gravity bong. which should really be called a diffusion bong but whatever. there was a lag effect to reality, my friend passed me a basket ball and I caught it. a two ar three second gap sat between me catching the ball and me seeing my arms raise up and catch it.
I got into marijuana, I saw a youtube video called "what acid feels like" by the great psyched substance. this piqued my interest in psychedelics.
I began marijuana meditation practice, and sleep meditation. no established methods, I was playing with my consciousness with no expectations.
I went on many mushroom hunts before I found any thing. the trip was right up my ally, I saw dots connecting before my eyes, the realizations came so easy. I became overwhelmingly happy to simply be alive
I forgot to mention, at 16 I took Molly and felt love for almost everything that came to mind. I never treated my family the same way after that roll.
here we are now, my recent explorations have mostly been posted already.
