Myself used 50g of A confusa doing Nomans tek, first time ever doing a tek. The next day the globes had crystals in them. Poured them out in the coffee filter but there was nothing at all basically. It came out white but no return at all. Smelling the filter after drying it had that new shoe scent so myself knew that it was done correct. Was it just because of the small amount myself used? This was my first try at tek so used my small gifted 50 g bag.

After doing this myself went and tried a bigger setup and used Nomans tek to a T with 250 g MHRB, 250 lye, 3750ml water, four pulls, 250ml heptane each pull. Put them after in 4 500ml jars and in the freezer. Tonight will be 2 days and the jars are just cloudy but no crystals.

What does myself do?

Maybe put the solution in 4 bigger jars so it might be easier to freeze?

Kinda sounds like 2 possible things. Either you didn't mix the solvent in the base well enough during the pulling phase, or its too waxy to pull. I'd try doing some more pulls, make sure you get good contact with the solvent and the bark. This time do a freeze precip in a glass baking pan, pull the solvent and scrape up the remains.

ACRB i think really needs the defat and acid cook.

Maybe it's the jar myself used. It just fit the 3750 ml of water, 250 lye, 250 mimosa and 250ml heptane. It was full basically 1 cm from the top of the glass jar. let it sit for 1hr and 20 mins then put in the 250ml of hep and rolled like it stated.

could myself empty those jars into the glass pan, fan blow it and just re crystal?

or maybe fan off some hep and re freeze?
