On cue a few minutes after taking a large inhale I have to pee. Is DMT and/or NMT a Diuretic? I'm curious what effects it might have on kidneys and kidney function. LSD and Psilocyben are harmless on the kidneys, for example, but I have limited experience with those substances.

Does anyone know what's happening with the frequent need to urinate?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Ok, lazy me did some Googling. It's definitely a diuretic, at least anecdotally. I have kidney issues and it's my understanding that psychedelics are generally kidney safe if blood pressure/heart rate is controlled with drug adjuncts such as beta blockers, other BP meds, or and benzodiazepines to reduce nervous system responses and vasoconstriction. On the flip it might not be very safe for prolonged back-to-back use like vaping DMT for hours straight.

Does anyone have any experience suppressing the blood pressure spike? If I can suppress the blood pressure response then use of this class of drugs can provide fun and a long-term benefit.

I've played around with beta blocker but haven't had anyone put a cuff on me and test during the trip.
