I am not new to DMT, or Ayahuasca, but I am new to brewing it.
I made a batch (too large honestly) of about 1.250 liters of pharmahuasca (that seems to be the correct word for the recipe I used). The analog brew was quite awesome in my opinion.
It was made with 200gr of Mexican MHRB ( excellent quality verified with a 50gr sample that yielded 1.1gr of pure freebase spice in 3 pulls using the lazymans tek), and 150gr of 30:1 Caapi extract combined into the brew after the final reduction.
It was nothing short of powerful for me at 20ml, then about an hour later 12ml. A few friends had powerful experiences after smaller doses.
I stored it in a ball/mason jar with the lid on tight, vaccu sealed, and inside of a brown paper bag in the refrigerator.
I noticed it seemed to be loosing some potency after about a month. It had no real effect on me whatsoever at a dose of 45ml (combined in two doses) after 6 weeks. That dose would have been insane when it was fresh.
I am wondering if keeping the Caapi and the MHRB brews separate in their own jars and just combining before usage would help it to last longer???
It is a beautiful recipe, and I'm not complaining. I think I will scale it down to half the amount next time (size of batch in total to maybe 750ml).
Does anyone know if keeping the two brews separate would prolong storage?
