Forgive me if I posted this in the wrong place.
Some problems have occurred with spice extraction.
The extraction below has been done 2 separate times,
The 1st time Zippo liquid was used, the 2nd time Heptane was used.
The 1st extraction yielded some nice white to yellow crystals.
The 2nd extraction turned out to be heptane with some yellow blur in it.
No crystals have formed the 2nd time.
What could have gone wrong here?
Is there any DMT in the heptane?
What can be done to improve the recipe?
Recipe
200g MHRB
200g Vinegar
240g Water
200g NaOH
180g Naphtha (zippo liquid)
Shredded up the 200g of MHRB.
Added the 200g of vinegar and 200g of water.
Mixed for 40 minutes.
(The mixture is now red/brown)
Added 200g of NaOH.
Mixed for 20 minutes.
(The mixture has turned black and started stinking like death)
Let the mixture rest for 24 hours.
Added 180g of Naphtha (zippo liquid)
Mixed for an hour.
Separated the solvent from the mixture.
Put solvent in freezer for 24 hours.
Yellow crystals were formed in the solvent.
Poured of the solvent from the crystals and saved for later use.
