New member with only minimal extraction experience. I had several different extractions running to determine which I had the best success with. I was forced to suddenly abandoned them all and consolidate and pack up all my extractions. Upon returning I'm completely lost as to what is what and what's on what step. I've got jars with solvent, jars with lye, jars with lime, jars running an ab, jars running stb. I was hoping to get some advice on how to proceed. Thanks.

I'm not trying to be brash, but my best advice is to start over... And label everything if you are going to need to pack up in a hurry again...

jars with solvent - just pull them until you get any dmt.
all other jars without solvent could be joined together and pulled with solvent. If you can't join, you can measure pH, rise it to 12-13 if necessary and pull separatedly

if you are lucky, you won't end up with emulsions and will be able to pull, at least something

and of course, you won't be able to say what tek was the best, so apply previous advice Smile
Acceptance of the fact that our reality is not real doesn't in fact mean it is not real. It just leads to better understanding what real means.

ya I'm going to second the Previous comment...Pull any Solvent that are top of the ones that separated ,and toss the rest..Too many variables to take a Chance on not knowing,at least you Know when it comes to the Solvent..Sorry about your luck pal,,I know the work and time that goes into Extractions..even if they are STB and a little easier 'so to say'...Good luck and let us know how it all went,I'm curious now haha...peace and loveSmile

Also, solvent could be trapped due to emulsion (especially in an STB) so make sure that is accounted for (salt, more base, more water).

Basified solution tends to be more black than acidified solution.
