Speaking from SWIM's perspective (because it's easier to type 'I' than "SWIM": )

I notice that when I smoke DMT, I go FARRR.
I'm sure many of you have reached the outer most limits of these other dimensions where
all of your senses are just completely overwhelmed and you're left in amazement for days after...

I introduced DMT to one friend who believed me about respecting the spice and also shares similiar
views on life in general. He seems to be my only friend that's able to reach the depths I am.

Aside from that friend, I've __given__ (I don't believe in selling) DMT to err ... Not sure how many people but, they all seem to get the same effects.
They get a good body high and occasionally some CEV but, really weak CEV.
The thing is, these people seem to have the mindset "boy, I'ma get fucked up!"
Then they come to me like "dude, that shit's weak, doesn't even touch shrooms."

Anyone notice a correlation like this in their own experiences?

Have you ever been scanned by the hyperspatial symbiot?

We have . .

It knows why you are there, and if you are even aware.
So many wonder why they can't remember anything . .
I remember everything.

Hyperspace, as well as consciousness itself, has many functions.
Intentions mold space/time,
and the spice gives you extra power and insight to conduct this work.

Maybe they are just scared and don't take a big enough hit. Its understandable in a way if one is not ready.

intentions affect their mindset. their mindset affects the chemicals in their brains which in turn affects how the spice is absorbed/metabolised/etc.

suboncsciously they could also be taking smaller hits, but this isn't always the case.

I invited a bud of mine who wasn't prepared for it...I regret it because I didn't know then what I know now. I would never have let him try it, he was trying to get a quick high I believe. Still a decent guy though.

Basically he just inhaled twice and held it in. Then he picked up his phone and started messing around, I knew I fucked up right then. Apparently he didn't get much out of it whereas the same amount can give me full visuals with that out-of-body feeling. Personally I think he was trying to control it or come out of it, and we all know what happens when you do that Razz

Are they smoking it properly? Most people SWIM's done it with require instruction and practice in order to smoke it right. SWIM now uses a clear glass bubbler so that he can see exactly how much they are getting.

@jacetea: I get annoyed when visitors do that in general, but such a level of disrespect would be unbearable...almost to the point of aggravated assault! I don't care if he is a decent guy, what you've said of him evidences an enormous lack of character.

You're annoyed when visitors do what? Try to get a quick high? Do you mean lack of character on my part or his?

I fully admit I messed up with him, I should've done it differently. We both tried it for the first time, on the same day. Now however, I don't just give it away without making sure people are prepared for it. I give them proper links to read up on, none of that Joe youtube stuff. I show them the smoking device, the lab area, and also the spice itself in different states (freezer...etc). Basically I tell them to let me know when they are ready.

Not to derail the thread but I don't think respect for a molecule can really say much about someones characters in a negative or positive way. He's not a "best-bud" or anything but he is fairly down to earth. I admit I was disappointed when he reached for the phone, but I have to keep in mind his view of things is different from my own. Maybe he just isn't ready for it yet. Not everybody is a philosopher afterall.

Sorry, I meant fiddling around with the cell phone all of the time, every chance they get, but yes, especially when smoking. Most people I know text but are able to keep it reasonable according to the situation, but not everyone. I'm not referring to respect specifically for the substance.... It's like if you made someone an exotic sort of meal and they took a couple bites and then just started chewing some gum or something, it's just incredibly discourteous.

Whenever SWIM introduces someone to the spice, he usually guides their first couple experiences to make sure they're consuming it right and that they can handle it without freaking out.

Ah I see. Yea it is kind of rude in a way, but I suppose it takes a certain personality and he just didn't have it. Maybe I should prepare some Pharmahuasca instead and change his opinion. haha, I jest of course.
