I figured I’d replace the duplicate post with some information about something I’m just starting to use to help with my depression and anxiety. Psychedelics helped a lot in the past and still do, but I continue to struggle with sleep and fatigue even when I microdose. Nicotinic acid is a form of vitamin b3 that produces the “flush” compared to the “non flush” kind commonly sold at stores. I just experienced my first flush at 250mg, itchyness and heat sensations lasting about ten minutes. And what I feel now is accurately described in this article.

These articles talk about the founder of aa, Bill Wilson, in his journeys to find a solution to his problems that aa alone couldn’t solve, and is an eye opener for someone like me. They don’t tell you this part of history in the rooms.

Wondering if I can post sources for a vitamin supplement like b3?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hi Johnsonptd!
The key for healthy body and mind is diet, moving/exercise, with what, who, how and where are you spending your time and are you learning and challenging yourself. I had moments of depression but you must eat clean (im not saying go vegan, vegetarion, keto, fasting or whatever just eat clean less carbs, no refined sugars non bleached foods, no bad fats, if your not then start working out go in nature, learn new things suppelemting vitamins and minerals is good but do not go over the daily rda's because then you might experiences side effects i my self supplement only vitamin D - 500 IU, Vitamin C - 300mg, Vitamin B12 - 250mcg, Cal,Mag,Zinc, i advice you to not supplement vitamin A and E because you are probabbly not lacking them and excess may be bad, you can use folate,b3 and b6. Good Luck and dont forget to push yourself out of comfort so you can grow.

Moments of depression...sounds rough bro! Really though you have some valid points there. I’ve always avoided the use of supplements, however, desperation for an answer leads me to try new things, like kratom, which has done more good for me these past four months than anything in the last 8 years of my life. Im usually quite active when not weighed down by another episode, and the past four months have been consistent gym time, improved social life, and no sugar for over a month now. been mostly on a veg diet for 10 years and prefer the actual plant that has the mineral or vitamin that I need, but hearing about over farming and depleted soils has got me wondering if maybe I do need to try something extracted. never took vitamin D but a year ago started using a tanning bed and experienced immediate relief. I say give that a try and see if it works better than the vitamin. Depression isn’t something minor for me, it’s been going on for most of my life and the worst parts last for months at a time multiple times a year, usually all winter. I don’t even get out of bed. There’s definitely something lacking, and when I finally crawl out of it I spend my time finding out what that is. Meditation has been a life saver and I crave being out in the woods. I may give vitamin c and b12 a go, willing to try anything atm. The nicotinic acid is showing some results. And just started on some magnesium glycinate to see if that does anything.

Vitamin D is huge man 90% i would say of the whole world lacks vitamin D3, we get vitamin d3 from certain foods but mainly from the sun, but guess what we live in buildings now we work in buildings we wear clothes that hide us from the sun so we dont get enought vitamin D3 its huge, i say supplement it from min 500IU to 1000IU max D3, try vitamin C i personally use 300mg a day, you can also try b12 its good, a lot of people lack it, omega 3 is huge if your going to buy omega 3 best is in phospholipid or triglyceride form from krill fish with high EPA and DHA content (IT MUST CONTAIN EPA AND DHA), magnesium very good to calm down nerves, calcium is nice, zinc a little bit (dont over do the cal mag zinc really) yep man and workiing out, eating clean, wake up in morning take cold shower, meditate, learn new things everyday. Good luck Thumbs up
