Hello to everyone!
I have been visiting this site for a few years now, but during the last few months I have decided to start participating more and contributing to the understanding of entheogens, so here I am.
I'm from Chile, a very conservative country where drugs are still a pretty hot issue. Well, excluding alcohol which is like the third most important industry in the country. There is little information available, mostly rumors or in English (which Chileans doesn't understand very well), so one of my goals is to compile, translate and release information for the small but increasing local drugs users.
I'm an amateur with a scientific background so the first thing I want to do is to understand better the diverse disciplines involved in psychedelics. But, I have to recognize my biggest bias, the rational/scientific one. I have noticed that I'm not the only one, and in here I have found people trying to fuse or hybridize the scientific and spiritual realms to explain what obviously the rational mind can't understand alone, so I hope to be able to contribute with my ideas and especially learn from the others what I haven't been able to do alone.
Mostly I'm interested in experimenting with DMT and psilocybin mushrooms, but I have been cultivating more species, like Echinopsis spp., Ipomoea spp., Datura spp., a few varieties of Lophophora williamsi (with little success), Cannabis and obviously Psilocybe cubensis, so I'm going to be trying those in the future (except Datura which scares me a lot haha). Also, learning to extract and smoke DMT has been a really difficult and fun thing to do!
One more thing. English is not my native language so please, correct me when its necessary, i also want to learn to write it better haha.
