soooo.....first time STB and i've got a wee problem...
after i microwaved a bunch of epsom salt and shook it in with my saturated Naphtha, i transferred my "dry" solvent into a pyrex baking pan, covered it with saran wrap and put it into my freezer (set on max cold).
about 2 hours later i poke my head in for a sec and i have crystal formation ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SARAN WRAP! wtf? that can't be spice....
so i rip that baby outta the freezer and take off the saran wrap....smells like solvent but water would too...i find a pyrex bowl with air-tight sealing lid and transfer the solvent into it. the bottom of the baking pan is covered with a goopy yellowish sludge...
this is not looking too good....
i put the baking pan in the window to evap and seal the solvent in it's new air-tight bowl and place it back in the freezer.
situation as it stands: pan is almost evapped and is just goopy plant fat sludge. solvent in the freezer appears to be having crystalline formation on the inside of the lid.
is there still water in my solvent? if so, WUT DO I DO???
MUCH LOVE AND GRATITUDE!!
