Hey there , so my pal found a 2000ml pyrex Round Bottom Flask at a resale store . it has a long neck which makes the NPS extraction very easy if the layer would split right at that point where the ball of the flask blooms into the very narrow stem .
the measurement of the ball alone is 2280 ml .
the complete measurement of the entire flask is 2390ml .
looking at this thru noob eyes , a 50g cyb salt tek comes out to 690ml , a 50g max ion can also hit 1590 , those numbers added = 2280 . 2280 is perfect amount minus nps as 2280 would fill the round flask completely to the brink where the narrow stem starts , that is where the nps would dit making the extraction process a breeze .
ultimately my pal is looking for an adjusted tek utilizing 100g acrb to hit 2280 . he states this is silly , mixing these two separate teks into a single vessel and would rather perform the tek at one single swipe and hit this magic number of 2280 minus the nps . ideally utilizing just 100g acrb , but again he is not experienced enough to understand if one can merely just add 500 ml more water to a 50-100g ab atb and not suffer any consequences .
he calculated a single max ion that came out to something like 1800ml , and then added additional a total of around 500ml h2o -like 100 at the initial acrb mix and then an additional more significant amount of 400 ml additional h20 (and salt) added at the salting stage . he claimed at this point he felt he was straying too far and that he would be putting the project at risk .
i know it seems like throwing the baby out with the bath water but he claims the extraction process utilizing this sort of vessel to be night and day . he is being very stubborn . i am not sure what to tell him and he was not willing to sign up here so i am here asking for assistance in his sted .
he is currently attempting to obtain some long neck 1500 ml vodka bottle , and looking at resale stores , he found a 750 ml liquor decanter long neck bottle that would work for a single 50b cyb salt , or perhaps considers splitting a 100g max ion into two separate pulls using this smaller vessel which i am thinking would be a hassle
