I was wondering if it is possible to use activated charcoal to clean up some of the discoloration after using FASA?

would this negatively impact the yield?

AC is good for decolorizing, but don't use too much or you will lose some product. The surface area is enormous, so you only need about a tsp.

Pore size is typically 1µm, large molecules like chlorophyll and tannic acid are easily trapped in AC.
