So as the title says, I am wondering if changa would be a, shall we say, more gentle introduction to hyperspace? I have only vaped spice, in a dab rig and in a vape tank (which I think is the best ROA so far), and one terrifying experience with insufalation (which taught me my first and most important lesson!). But I recently acquired some yellow Caapi, used gibs awesome caapi extract, and now have roughly 1 gram of caapi harmala FB and was thinking about making some Changa.

So what I have so far is mullein, passion flower, Pau D'arco, and some Caapi leaf on the way. I was thinking of the following ratio's.

.75g harmala fb
.75g spice
1g blend

Blend being 40% mullein, 35% caapi leaf, 20% passion flower, 5% pau D'arco.

I want to know what you guys think about using changa to introduce someone to spice? And I have also not tried DMT and an MAOI yet, does the stated ratio seem to high? And as for drought of admin, the person I will be sharing with doesn't really care for bongs. A bowl or a joint would be better for them, but a joint seams like an awful lot. Is a changa joint a valid option? Could I dilute the by using, say, 100mg changa and mix that with some extra mullein of some other herb? Or roll up a patty of changa? Lol

Just curious for your advice and or words of wisdom. The person that I am sharing with is my wife and it is important to me not to overwhelm her more than necessary (because what journey isn't at least a little overwhelming! 😝Pleased as she is my wife and soul mate.

Thanks in advance, and any and all advice is welcome.

It is by will alone that I set my mind in motion.

The blend you are using is certainly a pleasant combination, tastes just fine and easy to smoke. I like to use those plants as well. I think changa is totally fine for an introduction, however don't assume it will be more easy going. you could increase the amount of herbal blend if you would like to decrease the potency of the ratio, however having less to smoke is usually more ideal.

I have found changa can be equally if not more potent, and also last a little bit longer. However the plants do add a grounded and more guided feel. I like to look at it the way ayahuasca healers view the combination of plants, the vine(Maoi)is the power and chacruna(dmt) is the light. To much light(aka vaporizing dmt pure) can be just an absolute blast of a download and be overwhelming and tough to comprehend. Adding the caapi aids in giving a little more support by slowing the rise and come down of the experience and making it a more gradual digestable pace.

Many ways to veiw this depending on your beliefs. The herbs you use in the changa blend as well each have their own qualities they can add to the blend, so its certainly pays off to deepen that connection with all the plants in combination of your changa blend. IMO its the best route for use, easy to store and consume. Hope this helps! Blessing to you and your wife's first journey! Make a cozy and comfortable space, with some smell goods and candles, everyone will be just fine Thumbs up

Definately appreciate the response. As I understand it, the window for breakthrough closes fairly fast, but with th maoi from the harmalas, would that keep the window open longer, so to speak? Like, instead of having to take several hits right away, be able to stretch out the journey? Kinda like a hot air balloon ride into hyperspace, instead of a light speed warp drive into hyperspace? Lol

to some degree yes and no. i think changa is more ideal to start with because it is easier to smoke. getting the vapr technique down can not only be challenging, but create unneeded stress in the struggle to get each hit in efficiently . Changa you can also just load a sizable amount and go in one toke at a time, much easier to manage how one feels and to ease into the experience more slowly if desired.
