If you know the strain of your seeds, and use dosages far under what possibly could induce delirium, my understanding is that you are entirely safe. As a matter of fact, I find Datura inoxia to have no toxic feeling at all, something I feel all the other sleeping aids I have tried have. It is important, however, to note that an overdose will result in catastrophic consequences. Only extreme small dosages (1-5 seeds) should therefore be used, and only when you are absolutely 100 percent certain that you have the strain you think you have.
SWIM likes having Datura inoxia as part of his herbal medicine chest. It should be kept away from children and in a container with proper warnings on it.
SWIM uses Datura inoxia very occasionally as a sleep aid. It’s the most effective sleep aid he’s ever used. He used to suffer from insomnia and has tried everything pretty much and nothing else works as well for him. Just 4 seeds and he can easily sleep and have tons of dreams. He doesn’t feel much at all from it at that dose, but somehow it makes sleep very easy. With all the other sleep aids you feel drugged.
Whenever talking about herbs or refined medicines, dosage is a critical part of the discussion.
Everything becomes a poison at some point. Even something as healthy as vitamin C is a poison if too much is taken.
Datura is known as a poison because of people misusing Datura. Water can kill you. Salt can also kill you. It’s all about proper dosage. You would never eat a pound of salt or drink 10 liters of water, both of which can be fatal.
The problem with Datura is their potency. You can easily eat too much. At the proper dose, they are safe. 5 Datura inoxia seeds are completely safe. But if one were to eat a whole handful of seeds, that’s a different story.
Remember that delirium is an overdose symptom, and not part of the normal pharmacological effects of tropane alkaloids until a near overdose is taken. Any sign of delirium developing means a dangerous possibly fatal dose was taken. Because some people are specifically taking datura for delirium, they are purposefully taking near overdoses. Such activity is VERY DANGEROUS. Lots of people die from taking such doses. Datura are not drugs to use for tripping.
You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. I try to sneak back from time to time under different names, but unfortunately, the moderators of the DMT-Nexus are infinitely smarter than I am.
If you see me at the waterpark, please say hello. I'll be the delusional 50 something in the American flag Speedo, oiling up his monster guns while responding to imaginary requests for selfies from invisible teenage girls.
