Hi all, I’ve been following this page for awhile and now look foward to being an active member. I’ve been searching for an answer on this for some time with no success. My acidic water is ph’d to 3.5-4 before going into the powdered bark put rises to nearly neutral during simmering. I was wondering can anyone tell me if this is ok or should my boil be at a ph of 4. I get ok yields but am always looking for ways to modify my Teks to make them more efficient. Thank you in advance for any help

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

The inverse should be true, PH Should lower during boil
I realize that no one book, one person, or even one ideology will have all the answers. I believe my job is to remain open yet discriminating. My intuition helps me discern truth, and wisdom helps me identify malicious intentions.

What I’m seeing is rather odd then. I’ll have to do some more research as to why this is happening I have just assumed it was the ph of the bark raising the ph of the water up until now. Thanks for clearing that one up for me simple_me 👍

It depends how acidic the water was to start with, and the amount and type of other dissolved material, as well as the bark itself.

This raising of the pH could be taken as a good sign. Those protons have got to go somewhere...

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

How do you acidify the water? If for example, you are using very little vinegar to get to a pH pf 4 what you are seeing makes sense I think.

How do you measure the PH?

With papers or a probe?
I claim not that this is the truth. As this is just what got manifested into my mind at the current position in time on this physical plane. So please feel not offended by anything I say.
