Art thread for new Members
Hi DMT Nexus,
I am starting an Art Thread here in the New Members / Welcome Discussion section. I am a painter. My paintings are magico-religious landscapes. They are narratives about trauma, paranoia and transcendence. My work is deeply influenced by DMT and other psychedelic experiences. After experiencing the traditional DMT aesthetic in my initial journeys, I then began to travel to landscapes that look much like the ones that I paint. I hope you enjoy the work and that you also post your own work here so that we can begin a dialogue.

I am an amateur painter...you can check out some of my paintings on the members art page. https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=22752

Do you have any tips for a noob?

Some tips would be to experiment with tools, materials, and process with the aim to actualize ideas that hide just around the bend of clarity. Above all else just keep painting and drawing with out being too judgmental about the results that come out of your practice. The works that I saw on the members thread give the impression that you are already doing this with success. So keep doing what your doing it looks good. I particularly like the haunting feeling in the top image of the last post. It seems very familiar in feeling as well as vision.
