That elevates grafting to a work of art. Thanks for the link.
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.

I usually cut all or most of the spines off my cacti before propagating and/or grafting, so I probably could not use this method, but I do find it fascinating and simple.

Spines simply make it faster to graft using this method. However, one can simply place the string in a circle around the base of the cacti and then insert the string under the ring each time. Simple enough....Cool

Here's some shots of my extant grafting experiments - nothing fancy, just a proof of concept to myself - especially the one with the 1cm slice. These are all 4 or 5 years old at least.

The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Very nice downwardsfromzero. Thanks for sharing. How much time has elapsed since you did most of those well grown out grafts?

Missed this question while busy doing other things.

I think the oldest of the grafts is maybe five or six years. I didn't take notes but could possibly find out by digging through my photo collection.
