Hello all Smile

My main semi-related hobby to what you find here is growing entheogenic and medicinal plants which I've been doing for a good few years now. I am also a gardener by trade which I enjoy greatly. I actually came over from STS, I'm a regular poster and trader there, under a different username. I'd say I'm relatively new there still but have all ready settled in nicely and have made some good friends. I hope to do the same here.

This year I've expanded my plant collection a fair bit with the help of some kind STS members. I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge on any of these plants and the properties they hold.

Thanks for having me and I'm looking forward to getting involved with the community here!

Thanks for the welcome, Nydex Smile

I've seen some great information on different plants here from researching in the past. There were some plants that I actually started growing because of the information I found here. The first ones that come to mind are my Acacia acuminata var. narrow phyllodes from The top 8 Acacias to grow worldwide thread. https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=38229
Then also different phalaris varieties after reading about them in several places.

So much great info here! Very happy

Hi! I'm new here too, I'm hoping to start growing some entheogens next season, what are your favorites to grow?

If propagating or hybridizing is your thing then you have come to the right place indeed as there are many here with a lot of knowledge in those areas. Glad to see another plant enthusiast.

For me, I often prefer what I can grow from seed.

Hi Thr33crt,

My favourite plant to grow has to be Salvia divinorum. It seems to love it here and is growing very well for me. I also find it's rather satisfying taking cuttings. I have the 'Wasson And Hofmann' cultivar/ strain of it. I'd love to be able to add the 'Blosser', 'Luna', 'Paradox' and 'Appaloosa' cultivars/ strains of it to my collection one day. It seems rather difficult to find them though.

I rather like all the different cacti I'm growing as well.
I've recently got some grafting stock so I can have a go at that, as so far I've just grown them all on their own roots. I've put in another bunch of Lophophora Williamsii seeds so I can experiment with them first. (I've seen a lot of good info on cacti from you Wakinyan, so thanks for that!)

What plants are you hoping to start growing, Thr33crt Smile

Hey Wakinyan,

I'm with you on growing from seed. I prefer to do that where possible as well.

I've put some Psychotria virids seeds in 3 and a half weeks a go and am waiting for them to pop up. I expect I will be waiting a while still ha!
I've had a plant of it for a while but I received it when it was all ready a little plant. I thought it was about time I got some seeds of it on the go! Very happy
