We have a 50g aya mix of Caapi vine and Chaliponga sitting. The intention was originally to make changa with what we have left of our last batch of DMT, but we've been sitting on it for months and simply can't find the time and opportunity to make it up. (Not everyone can use their kitchen as a place to blend illegal substances)
I've read a couple suggestions for smoking Caapi in a joint or bong.
Was thinking of trying this on it's own, to see what it is like and also as a preparation for a DMT hit.
How would you recommend smoking it, how much do you need to smoke?
Would you throw some of the chaliponga in there?
I've seen people recommend it but never mention specifics
A bong/bubbler/pipe (glass preferable) works perfect. You could even roll joints if none of the aforementioned gear is on hand. Regarding qtty, just pack a bowl and see how it feels, smoke more if you like it. There’s no overdoing the leaf since it only deposits small amounts of alkaloid, in the 0.3% range more or less. Though very light on actives, for some indviduals the leaves do seem to work in prolonging the vaped/smoked tryptamine experience. Some might claim that via smoked ROA, with absorbtion happening faster (through the lungs and into the bloodstream), the microgrammes range dosage provided by a bowl of Caapi leaf works just as good as the isolated harmalas added to a changa blend. While i tend to disagree ( but not entirely) i do think that these afirmations are viable to some extent..
In conclusion, i’d say you can go ahead and try the leaf with no fear as the strength doesn’t even come near to the actual isolate and, in such small amounts, it won’t remain active in the body for a long time either.
You could try smoking it prior, toghether with dmt via sandwitch method, during the trip, after and so on. Try different methods and see what works best for you.
As for the Chali, my advice is to save it for a brew. It tends to burn with difficulty as oposed to Caapi, which has its leaf thin, soft and tasty, Chali is not so tasty and does not pack even near enough actives for an interraction using this route imo. In brews, on the orher hand, it can be very very special and that’s where it shines the most i think.
