Because acrb has higher quantities of plant fats oils and other non crystalline alkaloids. A stb would doubtfully yield very quality spice.

Defats and back salt is not necessary. Depending on your bark quality you may come up with goo, wax, xtals or any combo. If you're cool with that then you don't need to do the other steps.

Again no i don't feel it's NECESSARY. However if you desire nice pretty xtals then you may want to.

Typically a defat is performed on the acid phase prior to basing as far as i know. My experience has been that it does not really do that much.

Again this is only my experience. Others may have very different advice.

I typically can either make enhanced leaf or changa with goo or wax, but it also vapes perfectly with a little glass stem fitted with some choreboy and a torch.
