2 grams produces a very decent trip for SWIM. 500 mg is about what’s needed for a minimal effect including some mild visuals. I think Madcapv2’s reaction is similar to SWIM’s. It’s definitely active at 750 mg, with some swirling visuals, but by no means a true trip.

The sublingual route is hard to perfect. I think more than anything, it’s improper technique that accounts for some people having no effects. I know it's inactive if not freebased properly, or if the sublingual method isn’t done right.

How much Virola Calophylla or Theiordora would be equal to a 3.5 g mushroom trip (relatively)? This sounds like an extremely interesting compound. I am very excited to try it.

SWIM hasn’t had mushrooms in a very long time. He used to dose using powdered mushrooms he grew himself which he put into capsules. 1 gram of resin was about equal to 2-4 of his capsules...but I have no idea how much in terms of grams were present in each capsule. At the time he didn’t have a scale accurate enough to weigh such small amounts.

Anyone else have any idea how much would equal 3.5 grams of shrooms?

Simply trying again sometimes works for swim. He will work again but with 2 gr or more. Still would like to make sure the preparation (freebasing) is done right. Are there any more details, specifics? Maybe swim didn't wait long enough for "complete reaction"?
Swim would always be happy with 20mg spice as for "decent effect". With fungi that would be 4gr and up. Swim would never put them in capsules. He is too impatient for that there is very dry season in his area . Regular kitchen spoon topped with fluffy grounded stuff should be close to 3gr swim can't correlate how heavy it would "look" in capsules.

I tried 1g resin w 60mg calcium hydroxide sublingual the other night after a day of mild-medium mescaline bliss. I had prepared the resin a few nights prior. The resin and caoh were mixed with just a little water and worked into a small tablet-esque form and left to dry. I did not feel much burn from the caoh (previous attempts were much more noticable). Unfortunately, I didn't feel much, if anything from the resin.

I feel like I did the best job yet of keeping the saliva level in my mouth too low... Im wondering now if I kept my mouth too dry. I held it under my tongue for at least 15 minutes before swallowing.

I have another gram or so that I will attempt with again. I have felt effects from 750mg sublingual before but this time I don't think I felt anything at all. Did I waste it by letting it sit to dry for a few days?

Im pretty bummed out about this because I really wanted to find a less "blast-off" experience with DMT.
