Hello everyone I got a question regarding the status of my bark mix after a failed extraction 2 months ago. It's been sitting in my closet in a pie glass plate with some plastic wrap covering it (not touching the mix) as I am not sure what to do with it. I have spent a bit of time researching whether it's still usable or not and i've come to the conclusion that it "should" be but I am not sure of the steps I should intake to recover my mix.

The problem with my initial extraction was due to the wrong use of lime. I chose to do Q21's 2nd dry tek (fluffy white funfest) and ended up using bad/impure/non-food grade calcium hydroxide which screwed my batch up. Ever since then i've been using a different lime for my newest batches which has been working so my question is can I add the equivalent ratio of the better lime to recover my mix Thumbs up or is it too late Crying or very sad ?

Yes, I did something similar with cactus once (i.e., addition of extra lime later on) and everything proceeded acceptably well.

Consider at this stage that you have little to lose anyhow.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

Fuck I wish Big grin but nah 30g of the bark mix, I recovered just a small sample size so I could minimize my losses in case it would end up in failure.
