Most of the negative trip reports i have read with aMT are with small doses, it doesn't become psychedelic until dosages above 50mg. Shulgin preferred it at low doses though.

I shared Jamies views on it before i tried it, a nasty stim like methamphetamine or something but i can say it's nothing like that ime. It's an absolutely gorgeous tryptamine imo.

Just found this old thread, one of my AMT experiences (in the same year as this thread) came with a hideous migraine at the tail end. I rather expected it though as I foolishly accepted a dab of MDMA in the latter part of the journey. The AMT started out pleasant enough, however.
