Hello nexus, I have been experimenting with hallucinogenic substances for a year now and I must say I have never felt more human. I have tried DXM, anahuasca, DPH, LSA, LSD, MDMA, 4-ho-mipt, mescaline, Bufotenine(vaped and snuffed), N2o, and various combinations of everything listed.

Today I will share the tale of my first anahuasca trip. A tea was produced with a close friend over the course of 2 weeks we started by brewing a quarter lb of powdered yellow caapi with a half lb of powdered mhrb. When this did not work a pound of ground peganum harmala was added.

After the brew was completed my friend, myself, and a mutual friend smoked an 8th out of a gravity bong and I filled a red solo cup full with the sickly orange fluid to later be consumed at my parents house. Once I arrived home 20 minutes later I drank 2/3 of the fluid chased with orange juice and drew a warm bath for myself. In no time at all the wooden door began to flicker and rush downward the effect was reminiscent of a waterfall. The speckled tile covering the walls of the room began to dance with an inconceivable fractal ferocity. As everything began to leap off the walls I concluded it was time to isolate myself in my room.

I was laying in bed watching mandalas spread across my textured walls each one with a unique story that drew my attention to their nebulous centers. I looked up the wall directly beside me and saw alien figures dancing in my wall. It was incredibly Aztec in nature, I rolled over face down in my bed laughing and I heard a ringing which I referred to as "insanity bells" at the time. It sounded metallic and occurred at such a high frequency I felt as though it was exploding out of my orifices. I rolled over and the room was gone I was sitting in a hole in the middle of a vast completely flat dessert watching myself from the right side of my body. I aged incredibly quickly then my skin rotted off my bones and my skeleton sunk into the earth. The hole filled with compost fashioned from my flesh and alien organisms evolved from it. Plants came first, then animals, then the animals organized themselves into societies and cities grew into the sky. I was in everything I was the energy fueling their fires and hearts. They never crossed the perimeter of the hole and the dessert remained uniform. I do not remember how I came back to earth since it was all blinding white light after that.

After returning the mandalas depth and intricacy had increased dramatically so I decided to turn the lights off to increase the intensity. At which point the air became dense with fractal patterns of color I cant describe and incredible flowers and fauna burst through holes that were not holes in the fractals and grew to my ceiling. I was in the center of a primeval world the dinosaurs of aliens foraging killing and seducing each other all around me. I focused on my breathing and it began to echo to a point where I believed I was hearing the cumulative breathing of every individual on earth. Once I drew that conclusion it stopped, I heard a single shaky delicate feminine breath which opened into siren songs. I was being serenaded by soft beautiful tones hummed by a matronly character, (I attribute this to the caapi looking out for me, "mother ayahuasca"Pleased every few seconds I would hear a nebulous sound much like what you hear when being submerged in water after a cannonball. At this point I realize hitting the walls sounds and feels cool(my ego is equivalent to a rabbits at this point). So I sit in bed with my back to the wall and begin throwing my arms out and hitting the wall with my knuckles.

After waking the household my step mother knocks on my door and asks if I am ok to which I respond "I'm very sick" and she leaves. I lunge over the corner of my bed and a tiny amount of puke dribbles out of my mouth (to be discovered 3 days later). I continue to roll around on the ground accidentally kicking the walls and walking into them. After the third visit she concludes I'm overdosing because my eyes wont focus and all I can say is "I'm very sick" or "I love you". Up until this point my experience was pure euphoria. She begins to search my luggage for drugs (which they are full of) but miraculously she finds nothing. This makes me anxious but I maintain an optimistic mindset throughout. For the entirety of this experience I was completely naked and refused to put clothes on. I was too distracted for the last half of my trip to give a reasonable account. I do recall sitting legs crossed beside her enjoying the CEVs. I was sitting legs crossed around a fire with 2 native american fellows composed entirely of fractal pattern. we were in a cave with no entrance or exit that was the shape of an egg and the walls were composed of 1 inch fractal windows to other dimensions (like tiles). They just handed me a pipe and we spoke without sound. She left I crawled into bed the trip subsided and I had total clarity she had never entered the room and it was just part of the experience. This was not the case.

I did not expect the brew to work especially not this effectively which was why I consumed a large eyeballed amount. I had 1 gal of tea and I consumed around 12oz which would've been 42g of rue, 21g of mimosa, and 10.5g of caapi. needless to say I wasn't prepared and will never be. This was to date the only psychedelic experience I did not thrive during which is why I was arrogant enough to take it in someone else's home. Thank you to those who read this to the end, your the reason I set my cautious nature aside wrote this.

Hello, thanks for the report.

Maybe you have brought back some lessons, questions, ways you might manage differently your setting and/or set.

Everybody has a 'first time'.
Everybody can look for opportunities to learn.

Enjoy your journeys, tell us of your adventures, if you feel like it.

Thank you for your input.

Following this relapse in reasoning I have had no further trouble with the tea(not that there was any psychological turmoil). It was just a steep and chaotic experience having only taken high doses of LSD prior. My experiences have been diligently managed since.

Having always resented authority (relying on my instinct I suppose) psychedelics have put everything I've suspected in context. It is the only way I have ever received reasonable answers. My questions have been answered and I am proud to exist in this quaint continuum of reverberation.

You're welcome, of course.
But there's no need for thanks, I just was saying hi.

It sounds like you've got lots to tell us about your adventures and those things you learn, and I'm looking forward to hearing more from you.

Until very recently, when I've worked with the DMT, I've used it by itself. But I'm finally following the guidance of the people who speak so highly of working with the Caapi and the DMT together, and am beginning to appreciate what they have been saying, for so long. Maybe I will get some good learning for myself!

Cheers.

You were the first of 55 views to say hi. I thought it warranted thanks.

This was the one and only time I have worked with caapi. I do not have enough experience with it to have an opinion. I thoroughly enjoy rues feral and complex nature though. I once consumed a high dosed rue only tea and I puked for 12 hours straight and felt feverish but it was one of the strongest things I have experienced. Trails were opaque and seemed to ripple to the corners of my vision rather than dissipate, I heard jack hammers in my skull, CEV were like soft mandalas or I was somersaulting through emerald tunnels. Would've been really fun if I wasn't struggling to breath through the continuous puking.

The appeal for me are the somatic challenges it presents not unlike my infatuation with 5-ho-dmt. Caapi seemed more cerebral in my limited experience.

Hallo, that was a well written report and an interesting one at that. Being able to relax enough to trip in someone else's house is alien to me as one couldn't relax, but it sounds like one to remember and learn from for sure. Did you have to speak about it much after regarding the being'very sick' etc? Your rue-tea experience sounds blissful without the jack hammers and the illness too.

The jackhammers were interesting. It was like a warped neural throbbing. I didn't have to speak about it whenever I get sick I puke and hallucinate and have since I was a baby. The purge was a valuable part of the rue experience vaporized harmaline seems to be a reliable way to achieve the same effects without the illness. Unfortunately since this experience my body rejects rue making it next to impossible for me to trip on ayahuasca. Hopefully changa produces the same effect.
