The Singularity

This space is the hardest for me to experience, is very uncomfortable, sometimes causing me a moment moment of nausea before I black out. I have two descriptions of this space and will do my best to describe it. This space is more than a space as it is infinite in nature and crushing in spirit. #1 (closed eye) This space can appear as a swirling mass, rotating in all directions. Colours and patterns of intricate complexity undulate within themselves and the swirling mass. I begin to hear or feel it inside of me. It says this is where you were before you were born, and where you go before you are born again(die), this is the point from which all conscience resides and reality is concieved. I see everything being taken away me, everything I am, everything I love. I am alone, no body, total confusion and fear sets in as I am convinced I'm passing on into the singularity. At this point I am sucked into the singularity, experiencing a very bright, shining darkness and shot through a tunnel of light, then shown the infinite functions and processes of the universe. #2 (open eye) This space started out as my living room and is the most intense thing I have ever experienced. As I began to come-up all my senses merged together. I could hear the high pitched crackle of the veil being torn and I couldn't tell the difference between open and closed, eye's or nose or mouth. I felt myself falling into myself and was no longer me. Everything in the room started morphing into everything else and intense visuals consisting of fast, complex, interwoven, multi-dimensional fluid mechanics happening at light speed appeared and quickly filled the space. Time has stopped, and and the room I started in no longer exists. I watch everything I know as reality being consumed by the singularity as it enters the space I'm in and assumes it as it's own. I am only aware of myself because of an extreme sense of mourning and the fear that I'll never be again. I felt trapped. I am no longer on this plane of existence and engulfed in the infinite singularity. The understanding if conscious re-iteration was shown to me. I feel this sense of someone asking me if I found what I was looking for and was given back to myself. Great peace and a sense of gratitude came over me and I was filled with so much joy. At this point I was able to close my eyes and enter a different world.

I quit naming what I see or experience on my DMT trips. I don't see any point in naming them. Jesters, elves, domes, singularity, and so on. I am not discounting your approach but I cannot subscribe to naming. That said, I can relate to what you have written here. It feels like death, which can be experienced as both negative or positive, depending on how much I was able to let go at the time.

Thanks for sharing your experience!

What did you take from this so-called 'Singularity' experience? Have you had this experience more than once? It sounds as if it was overwhelming. Can you describe if you were fighting it or if you were able to let go? I would like to hear more about integration and some of your feelings about this experience. It sounds like it was very intense for you.

First add some paragraphs in longer posts. They become hard to read.

Other than that, sounds like ego death to me. Letting go of everything and giving into the experience.

What I have found, is that by being still and calming both your mind and body gets rid of any nausea. Steady both mind and body and with eyes open or closed (i just let my eyelids do what they wanna do) look straight forward like you are looking at a distant object. I also keep my head up and back straight.

The visials are always awesome, but distracting and once I learned to look past the amazing visuals I could write a book on what I experienced. I was reprimanded and there were hands that pushed my head and turned it straight if I started to get distracted. That was like lesson one. Then lesson 2 was unfocusing every sense. Anywho... back to what you were saying.

I can relate to this statement with the comeback of every trip I've made.

I experienced something very similar to this on a very deep and profound 5-MeO-DMT breakthrough last year in the form of vaped Bufo alvarius secretion. I remember remarking then it felt like I had become one with the singularity that birthed our universe, and/or the creative spark that lay behind it. That same feeling of infinity, of eternity/timelessness, of everything that makes up me evaporating, of dying/death was there too. For me there were no colours, beyond a white/golden light, which has been described as resembling "living starlight" which resonates with my experience. Deep stuff.
