Jerry Rubin has always facinated me..the man seems sort of a mystery..

I love all of his old speeches and such..very inspiring..

Later on he joined wallstreet...if you listen to old Jerry compared to later Jerry it's very odd indeed!

Was he corrupted?..was he trying to change things for the better from the inside out?..was he just another poser going along with the times?

I dunno why but something about his younger 60's days is soo inpiriing for me..has been for some years now..but I am torn over the older Jerry..quite the inigma really..what do you guys think?..

..I like this JerryVery happy ..

Lot's of people from the 60's became like this when some time in their lives they got to know money. You have to be quite strong not to let money corrupt you.

DMTripper is a fictional character therefore everything he says here must be fiction.
I mean, who really believes there is such a place as Hyperspace!!

Was that really a video of him in 2008? His wikipedia page says he died in 94.
Everything I post is made up fiction. SWIM represents a character who is not based in or on reality.

Suits were in fashion in the '80s! Pleased

After watching those videos, I'm sure he was sincere at every period in his life. I wouldn't blame him for deciding to earn himself some money, it's tough being poor. I expect everyone would want to live in eutopia if given the choice, but we must still survive in the society we have now. As long as he didn't exploit people, animals or the planet to make his money, I don't judge him for it.

Some of the things he said back in his younger days seemed a little unrealistic to me, so his mellowing was not all bad for him as a person I think. When I watch and read about the hippy radicals, many of them seemed to have gone way over the top with their demands. The money-throwing stunt in the stock exchange was pure genius, of course. I think it's great that he became an environmentalist. For me, the green movement is the true hippiedom. People, planet, profit Smile
Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! End tribal genocide: www.survival-international.org Quick petitions for meaningful change: www.avaaz.org/en/
End prohibition: www.leap.cc www.tdpf.org.uk And "Feeling Good" by David D.Burns MD is a very useful book.

That 2008 video is not him. It doesn't look like him and he died in 1994.

He was definitely an interesting character. Funny and very outspoken. He def seemed to change a lot in the 80's.
