So heres what I know so far. Yellow - Pure spice with some plant fat impurities Green - Produces much more defined colors in the trip, made from using sodium carbonate instead of lye Red - Jungle White - Pure spice Are there any others? Could you combine red and green to get like blue or something crazy? Purple? Black ( wait probably not a good idea lol) Anyway you get the picture The internet is a medium for the free exchange of ideas. Yellow - I believe DMT N-Oxide is yellow too, not just plant oils and fats.
Green - I think the green coloration is usually caused by the chlorophyll in leafy plants which can be eliminated by doing a defatting step during the extraction.
Red - I've heard that sometimes red DMT is actually laboratory-synthesized DMT. The red coloration is usually caused by impurities from the synthesis.
Orange - I believe Terence McKenna smoked orange DMT his first time smoking it.

Orange/yellow...DMT N-Oxide could be called orange or yellow depending on your view because its actually in between the two: it’s amber. Some people see amber as more yellow, and others see it as more orange, so that’s why you’ll see people call it yellow and others call it orange. DMT N-Oxide is a friendlier experience than DMT. It’s also longer lasting and has a slower peak. SWIM prefers it to DMT, but doesn’t like the sticky texture of it. You may remember me as 69Ron. I'm very inexperienced but I've never extracted green spice. I would not vaporise green spice. Green may indicate contamination. I would add 'tan' to the colour list. Tan is as I would describe my latest d-limonene extraction from MHRB It's a Jungle-DMT blend of slightly waxy dry crumbs. It's rather good available here

green spice?! dont smoke that, yuck! It definitely does not come from sodium carbonate, unless your sodium carbonate was not pure and had some weird stuff in it

I've only ever gotten yellow and white from my extractions. The yellow I'll usually do a solvent wash and get the DMT N-Oxide out and infuse some herb with that. I plan on doing a xylene extraction to get some "jungle spice" to try out at some point. I would also like to say that sometimes I like to smoke the very pure clear crystals and other times I like the yellower DMT, they are different experiences, and I don't think it's all DMT N-Oxide either because even when I do a solvent wash and then recrystalize the yellow spice I'll get yellowish spice still, and still find it slightly different than pure DMT, not sure if it's just psychosomatic but I don't think so.

I've some very orange/clear crystals, which were caused by DMT N-Oxide getting trapped in DMT. They were very gooey and smelly crystals that were much more floral than usual and smoked very nicely I honestly don't know where you heard that sodium carbonate/green DMT thing :s

Green spice is normally spice extracted from chaliponga or chacruna that didn't have the chlorophyll removed. SWIM has had some he extracted himself, from a quick extraction that wasn’t properly done. Chlorophyll is green and these plants contain a ton of it. It's hard to remove without the proper steps being done. You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. That is really peculiar. My friend used the ole mhrb lye naptha and constitantly got yellow. Then he ran out of lye and made some sodium carbonate from bicarb, added it to the mix and did some more pulls and the resulting spice looked green to me. Swim was interested so now he has a jar with some shade of pale naptha, if it evaps to green there will be pics The internet is a medium for the free exchange of ideas. sodium BIcarbonate is barely good enough to freebase any dmt....and i cant see any reason why pure sodium bicarb would make an extraction green...sounds like a contaminant

(btw, yes its very true green can be chlorophyll in some cases, but specially if someone got some green spice extracted from MHRB, it can be some weird anti-rust chemicals in solvent or other unwanted nasty stuff from impure chemicals used that shouldnt be smoked)

Fuck. It sounds like I wouldn't want to take it pharmahuasca style either. Maybe an ammonia wash or two after the crystals form? Don't want to be wasteful, i'll be sure to drop my friend a line. forget ammonia wash!
and anyways washing crystals is useless, you should wash when the product is dissolved in the solvent, by mixing the solvent with a basic acqueous solution (like sodium carbonate ph 10 acqueous solution) and then separating/pippeting out..
personally SWIM would forget about the green stuff and make his own propper extraction, but if one must use it, then definitely wash and recrystalize at least 3 times, and make sure there it became pure white stuff and not green anymore..

If spice was green i'd disolve, acidify, defat, rebase, pull. If it was still green... I'd attend to it when no one was looking... otherwise it's all good.
