1.3 Grams of Rue Harmaloids were dissolved in 50/50 Hot Water/Glycerin to make 30ml solution.
60ml Dropper Bottle was kept submerged in Hot water Bath and shooken periodically.
An additional .2 was added and is the current stopping point.

13 drops help sublingually is currently being sampled.

Definitely haven't mastered this route, however, managed to keep from swallowing for about 5 minutes while saliva accumilated.

Would like see if solution can hold another .2-.5
However, being that the taste is practically tolerable, maybe adding more is not the best idea.
However again; maybe less liquid in mouth= more efficient sublingual practice?
Maybe 30ml can hold 2 gram Harmala Salts?

Any thoughts on this?Shocked

P.S. Currently around 4mg per drop X 13 =52
If Harmaline is 2X and Half the rue make-up, and sublingual harmala is 3X or greater, maybe I am going to lie down for a minute.

Double P.S. I doubt my sublingual technique is good enough, nor my harmaloids pure enough to be flattened right now from 13 drops.
P.S. x3, I'm not sure I like the taste...

Goodnight...Confused

P.S. x4... Should I refrigerate this...?
Thanks for your consideration...

Location: Nowhere, I'm not real.
SWIM has 2 rue tinctures now, both look pretty much like that.

One is full alkaloid, the other is slightly lighter and nearly pure harmine.
They produce medium-strong effects on .4ml and .5ml sublingual respectively.

SWIM's test seemed to produce 75% harmine to 25% harmaline. He was surprised, but that explains the comparative strengths

SWIM's full-alk tincture has been sitting on his shelf for a couple weeks, no floaties or anything, apparently anything with a low PH should keep for a while and with vinegar at under 3 it's probably good.
Q21Q21's Tek: A comprehensive guide to extracting DMT
The 2 teks use non-toxic lime and vinegar and Tek 1: d-Limonene or Xylene or Tek 2: Naptha to produce very quick high yields with the greatest of ease.

I am almost never on this site anymore so I will likely not answer PMs

I'm not quite up to date on the "per kilo body weight" thing.
That's what you mean when you say .4 .5 etc... as doseage?

By test do you mean when you PKA'ed the alkaloids out separately using the appropriate PH's.

Mine being Glycerin, with only traces of Vinegar, should I do anything else to preserve it, like refrigerate it?
Acidify it?

One idea I had for insurance preservation was using Colloidal Silver water instead of straight water with the glycerin.

It has helped beat many a cold and flu during the sickness season.

They used to put a quarter (when silver) in a jug of milk in the old days.

P.S. The feeling I got was that glycerin should act as a effective preservative alone.

SWIM believes this to be the case.

silver makes sense only if you are worried about bacteria.

Actually I thought I remember that Harmalas have some anti-bacterial quality to them. Can anyone verify this?

They seem to have some anti microbial and anti fungal activity:

Short Communication: Evaluation of antimicrobial activities of Harmine, Harmaline, Nicotine and their complexes.

I was thinking about making a simple alcohol tincture (180-190 proof ethanol).

Why not to use ethanol instead of glycerol?

Maybe even sterilised water would do if we already have the HCl salt.

I found one source mentioning that "harmine hydrochloride hydrate" has water solubility of 13.66 mg/L @ 25 °C ... this does not make sense for me as I am able to easily dissolve many grams of the HCl salt in a litre of water.
