Agreed - the pineal being a likely candidate is still nothing more than a decent theory.

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

yeah thats very true, i realllly wish some research would jump up and unfold some dmt mysteries. Something being only a theory without evidence, does not mean the unknown is not true. The world was once flat you know, it only became a sphere when the theory became fact Wink

or maybe my imagination just likes to be hopeful haha

edit- oh yeah topic should be facts/theories than, kinda misleading my bad!

Just to let you in on a little secret. I don't believe people ever thought the world was flat... it clearly curves on the horizon dammit!

Sorry that's my own emotional baggage getting in the way...

"As we know, DMT is released in times of extreme high stress and near death experiences as well."

..This is also speculation...

Agreed!..people practiced astrology..knew about planetary alignments etc..why would they think the world was flat?

Maybe some christians durring the time of Columbus thought this but I doubt ancient pagans and other tribal people held the same beliefs..it's only christians that seemed to hold stupid beliefs like that.

Just because a culture is viewed as ancient or tribal does not mean that they didn't believe false things. There are plenty of tribal cultures still practicing voodoo magic or animal sacrifice among other things.

^thats a bit of a cop out of what I said..

People of ancient europe had knowledge of solar and moon cycles, as well as planets etc..take stonehenge for instance.

Ever looked out over the ocean? I do every day and you can clearly see the curve of the earth..doesnt look flat at all..

"The earth IS flat....it's just wrapped around a sphere..."

- Funniest thing I've read all day.
All statements are false.
