Hello all Smile

Excited to receive 10x Acacia floribunda and 3x Caapi vines (Gold, Black and... regular?)

They are to have a happy home in my partners permaculture \ sustainable garden.

I know extremely little about plants and keeping them healthy- but I look forward to learning. I look forward to posting updates in the future.

Time to do some homework on how to keep these guys happy; anyone with any tips on these guys, I'd love to hear them!

Thanks for stopping by!

looking lovely Smile,

i think the acacia and the caapi might love different sun, soils and watering.
for the acacia a good drainage is important some sandy soil should do it and lots of sun.
acacia overwatering is maybe one of the biggest problems you may face.
you do not need to fertilize the acacias.

i am not sure but maybe they are big enough to prune so that they branch and grow bigger. but i am not sure about this...

I can not say anything about the caapi's Smile

Thanks, grollum!

I'm going to have to do a lot of research- I hate the idea that I could kill any of them by jumping in head-first and getting it wrong Sad

It's nice to know the acacias are quite sun-hearty. I'm more worried about the caapi, to be honest... I'm sure it will be fine in a pot- but the plan is to eventually give it a home in the garden. Hopefully this will work.
