This issue was brought to my attention on the book “DMT the spirit molecule” by Rick Strassman.
He mentioned that there are certain moments in the life of a person when DMT is released (allegedly by the pineal gland):
During one´s birth (also the mother during child delivery); before dying or under near death experiences; during sex; while dreaming; others.

The method in which you are born, natural or cesarean section, might affect your life and your DMT experience.

I don’t want to beat around the bush, but I think is worth mentioning: he also mentions other theories implying that the pineal gland is the way by which the soul enters the body. The pineal gland shows up in human fetus at 49 days, at the same time sex from the fetus is identifiable (boy or girl). And also, the amount of time souls need to reincarnate in another body (49 days), according to the “Tibetan book of the dead”.

He said that for some people the first DMT experience recreates the moment (dramatic moment) when we are born, and that people born under cesarean might feel it different, cause that natural DMT release doesn´t take place, the baby is "extracted artificially" .

Personally, I was born under cesarean and even got a weird condition involving swallowing amniotic liquid and spending 2 days in intensive care (which is not unheard of and happens to a lot of babies).

My experience with DMT has been mostly non-visual. I get crazy but standard psychedelics with my eyes open (what I describe as super sayian furniture, as in Dragon ball anime), and with the eyes shut I have seen some mandalas, fractals or once even saw what Terence McKenna called “the chrysanthemum” (couldn’t get through though). But I haven´t yet seen aliens, elves, clown or jesters with amazing toys, different planets or landscapes.

I have felt the infinite, timelessness and ego death, also felt the presence of other entities (I could identify them as female or male sometimes) trying to teach me something… but no aliens or symbol-snakes yet!

I´d like to ask other other members, especially the ones having born under cesarean delivery or having experienced difficulties during-inmediately after birth, if they are able to experience the full spectrum of DMT experiences (breakthrough), visual-nonvisual, or have it in a different way.

I was born caesarean and I experience profound effects from DMT, both visual and non-visual.

Attuning ones mind to the medicine is important. I have been blocked out before but I looked deeper into that and overcame it. It happens for a reason and if you listen it will tell you why. All the answers are inside you. It's a magic mirror.

If you are getting to the chrysanthemum but no further you might just need to dose higher or improve your technique. Smoalk moar!

Also to note in line with the OP - I was cesarean section, and also the chord had been wrapped around my neck.

DMT is a very overwhelming experience every time I do it, intense on all fronts. Usually comes on full blast in/around 5-6 seconds for me, sometimes less time depending on dosage and method of delivery.

Thank you, I´m currently perfectioning my technique. I swticthed from smoking to vaporizing, cause I don´t like the smoke, and I´m still not in the top of the learning curve.
Regarding finding the answers inside me... I still have so much to learn.

The last one described somebody elses first experience with DMT/Ayahuasca, having a very rough, intense session and later explaining he re-lived that traumatic moment of birth.
I wasn´t sure what to make out of that, there are so many stories flying around internet, you just can´t believe everything people say.
