So, ive been quite frequently attendin aya ceremonies...well jurema/rue to be exact.
I had always had difficulty taking off at these ceremonies, the deepest i ever used to go was some mosiac like shimmerings behind closed eyelids.
I began to get frustrated at how i couldnt go as deep as my fellow jouniers seemed to go and decided to try and experiement with some fine tuning.

The dude who runs the ceremonies does so by dishing out the harmala drink first, which is folowed by 20mins of toning and then the jurema drink.
So, i recently started supplimeting the initial harmala drink with 150mg of thh.
This seemed to do the trick. For the first time i ever, i got a fullblown colourful psychedlic light show all whilst being bathed in bliss. Very reminicent of the time i smoked changa after some caapi tea.
This was nice, but i knew i could go deeper.
This weekend, I decided to suppliment the harmala with 200mg of THH. On top of that, the dude who does the brewing had announced that he had started brewing with distilled water instead of tap water, which had seemed to have a marked increase in the strength of the brew accodring to the regular attendees who were at the last session.

Errmmm yikes. I went the deepest i have ever been with this stuff. Oh my lord.
It started off as usual. Sat with closed eyes awaiting for the colourful patterns to start behind my eyelids, but they never came.
I began to think i hadnt taken enough again and it was gonna be like all the other nights, but man was mistaken.
I started to get jolts throughout various places on my body, this became a continual jolt if you will, which manifest itself as me uncontrollable rockin side to side and humming a monotone. I felt very eurphoric and began to laugh uncontrollably. At which point someone else partakining in ther ceremony told me to shut up. I also thought this was hilarious and it propagated the laughter, which sent a wave laughter round the room.

After a while, i suddenly found myself not knowing what the hell was going on at all. I couldnt remember where i was from or what i was doing. I kept gettin flashes of my everyday life which allowed me to maintain a certain connection, but i could not comprhend them at all. It was so confusing. I just kept saying..."whats happened"
Movement was a very big apect of the experience. I was constantly moving, writhing around, i could not sit still. It was running rampant through my body.
Then came the horrendus part. The only way i can descibe it is being in a blender of emotions, the visuals were very dark and i was just experiencing a multitude of dark emotions in quick sucession one after another. It was scary, intense and seemed to go on forever. I just wanted it to end, but just had to sit it out. I didnt know whether to cry or what.

After awhile, this began to subside to stillness and the "calm after the storm" began. Felt happy to be alive after nie on losing my mind and just felt generally thankfull albeit still very spaced out.
I dont remember everything or the order, but i know at some point some insights into the circle of life were revelaed aswel as a peek at the other side of the veil.
I hate the way that these soon become fleeting memmories, when these are proabably the most useful information one could bring back.

Those jolts throughout the body are very familiar to me and seem to go hand in hand with the caapi..I get them when comming up on full strength brews alot and they make me shake and stuff, electic feelings through my arms and legs..

Even when i make a real caapi heavy changa I have felt it.
Long live the unwoke.

It's funny that, when you think it hasn't worked, then BOOM!! Shocked your suddenly feeling like your strapped inside a huge rocket that's blasting off out into space, and your looking through a tiny window of where you were thinking "Well,, no turning back now.. Rolling eyes "

Yeah man, the jolts/movement are something which seem to have become more apparent now that im am "inhibiting" effectively.
They start off as twitches and just get more frequent until im rythmically moving back and forth like a mental patient.

The transition from sober to not knowing who i was was very smooth. I cant distinguish a point where this happened. I, at some point, just found myself in a very confused state. Like i say, the starnge thing was that i was getting flash backs from my daily life i.e being at work, driving up to the ceremony. I also was getting flashes of the dmt nexus and the vaporgenie. It was bizzare!!!

it's by far one of the most profound experiences you can have.

Where did the dark visions come from?
was it the group of people, the place or was it coming from deep inside?
I can imagine that being in such a deep state, surrounded by total strangers can be confusing.

When i go real deep i always prefer to be alone.

hmm intersting, ive always wondered how this changes the dream, do many people find it a bit intimidating attending these ceremonies with total strangers?

I can relate to Soulman when you started laughing, but I also wonder as to how that might have changed the other attendees deep mental state?

TBH, We arent really strangers. There seems to be regular attendees so we all kinda know each other. You do get some new faces every now and then, but the whole vibe of the place is very welcoming and friendly.

Honestly speaking, im glad i was surrounded by others. If i was alone an i had gone this deep i would have been even more scared. One of the sitters came a sat next next to me which was very reassuring. Not sure where the dark visions came from though. Prehaps because it was a new moon??? The last time i did it on a full moon and it was so coulorful. Dunno though, just a thought.

Usually it quite a quiet affiar and eveyone just lies there and goes on their own introspective journey, but recently, since hes been doing the brew with distilled water, a few people have gone a little loopy, as in, they have actually needed to be held down as they were thrashing around so much and shouting. I didnt witness this, but im sure it was very distracting for other attendees.Shocked

Are you planning to go back in the near future, or do you feel you need some time to realy proces everything that happened?

^I have heard that aya and mushrooms is really amazing..polytrip has some good reports on that combo..

I personally want to try it, but I wouldnt just throw it ontop of a full brew..I think I would start with maybe 5-10 grams caapi only with 1 gram of cubes.
Long live the unwoke.

Shoe. Where did you hear that 'shrooms don't go with Aya? This is personal experience you are speaking of, yes?

I can speak with personal experience that mushrooms and aya (or pharma) together was my deepest, most profound trip I've ever had...bar Iboga...one might have to go through hell though (incredibly dark feelings, and a very deep purge) but when I came out the otherside, the feelings I experienced then were far deeper, more blissful, and more sacred than I have ever felt before in my life on this planet...VERY powerful medicine!

My experience then was with;

30g caapi tea
250mg DMT extract from mimosa
1g dried Hawaiian Copeandia cyanescens mushrooms

although to be honest I wouldn't use that much of either the DMT or the mushrooms again...things were looking very hairy for a while, until I purged (acts as a safety net, stops it getting too crazy, which Syrian rue doesn't do for me). Incredibly deep purge...I roared like a jaguar...am usually pretty quite when I purge...was a strange night, that one Smile

Closest a male can feel to giving birth perhaps...I don't know. I do know it was pretty fookin intense, on a whole new level.. Twisted Evil

I have taken 2.5 grams of dried hawaiian copelandia and that was intense enough on its own... mixing it with aya must have been a profound experience to say the least.
