I'm following the Cyb's basic tek and I'm confused about pulling.

in the tek it said that you have to pull 4 times and put in freezer, but is possible to pull just one time and then wait for 24 h for the second pull (etc...)??

I know that the more the bark sits in the high ph solution the more it will break down and release more dmt, so why you have to pull all the four time in the same day??

maybe it's just me overthinking and it's a noob question but maybe isn't.

After you add the lye I would give it a day before you start pulling, although you really don't have to. 24 hours after adding the lye I would add the naphtha then stir for 60 seconds then let the layers separate for 15 minutes. You want to do this 3 more times with the same naphtha. After the 4th stir you want to let it sit for a few hours before you pull. You want to do a total of 6 pulls before you freeze precipitate. You want to freeze precipitate 18-24 hours. That's what I would do but take your time. Look up willy myco on youtube.

After you get your dmt you want to do a re-x to make sure it's lye free. Good luck...

I do the first pull immediately, then recycle the naphtha for second pull the next day (plus add some fresh naphtha to increase its "field capacity".

The first pull will get most of the alkaloids out anyway, the second pul is like 50%, then 25% and so on.

I recycle the naphtha 2 . It's just hard to explain on a internet form lol.

Why 6 pull before freeze precipitate?(I don't get if is important or just a way to approach)

you don't have to do 6 pulls, it all varies a bit. i personally use more naphta than recommendet in most teks, because it is easier with the bottle i use.
most of the times i do 2 pulls before freezing.

Okk thankyou. just one more question: There would be any problems if I freeze precip. two pulls in one dish?? like it doesn't precipitate or something like this??
