Hey Tatt; Salvia is wonderful to grow and I absolutely recommend it!

I'm a little concerned about the darkening stem but we'll see how things develop.

She's now about 6.5cm; some of the leaves are trimmed due to browning.

She's approximately 10cm now and still seemingly healthy.

Oyoyoy! Fantastic!

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

I'm sorry to announce that about 2 weeks ago she suddenly and quickly went completely brown and died. I'm not really sure as to why or what happened. Will try with another seed when Spring arrives.

Oh no! I am very sorry to hear this, sapphire. I was rooting for you after I lost my babies to downy mildew.

In any event, glad you at least have more seeds. Hope sprouts eternal!

Sorry to hear it sapphire!

It did stay short for quite a while, like it was struggling for some reason. I've come to notice that once the roots establish they grow like a weed.

Here are my latest batch of clones, loving life they are. I recently switched the light cycle to induce flowering so that I can try hand pollination on them and get seed.
