Noobie here I just scraped my first extraction the other night and was wondering whats the best way to store and transport dmt. I have my dmt in a little glass jar that I originally had for dabs its clean now. I noticed alot of the dmt gets stuck on the glass or in the wedges where the lid screws on is there an ideal type of container. Im also having trouble dabbing it whenever I go to pour it on the nail it sticks to the paper.

Changa! Thats the most plain and simple guaranteed safe method IMO just so you dont have a baggy of white powder on you. Its kind of hard to not get a bit of stick no matter what container though, especially if you live in a place that is constantly above melting point for freebase. Which good ol texas is just perfect for wrecking a batch if left out to long. You could use a small plastic baggy, like a gram bag or something you could rip open. Or if youre careful i just fold up a pre measured dose in some paper, ive noticed mine comes off of paper very easily. Also ive used no stick dab jars, but i noticed a bit of spotty change in the color of the jar after a while so silicone may not be the most friendly.

I live in a pretty cool area so I don't think I have to worry about melting. I think I'll try a baggy next time that sounds easier. I definitely want to make Changa one day thanks for the advice

A small air tight glass vial is the best way to store dmt. It's going to stick just as bad in a baggy. DMT will last longer in something air tight than in a bag. The great thing about a glass vial is that you can store your dmt in a freezer. Try to find a glass vial that fits your dmt just right.

10ml glass vial (you can find vials with extensible micro spoons included), wrapped in alu foil, stored in freezer - no signs of oxidation after 3 months, fully active
I had another glass vial, stored in drawer - DMT turned brownish after few weeks, still active
for long-term storage, probably the best way is to make DMT fumarate, which is solid and shelf stable - then you can freebase it when needed
also the larger crystals you have the better as smaller surface area means slower oxidation rate

Baggies suck for dmt. They rip and all the powder falls out. Also DMT is kinda sticky so it will basically become one with the bag over time. Also if you put the bag in your pocket it will melt and become one even faster. Best is a small glass jar. Preferably dark blue/brown. Wide neck for easier access. Also what I like is to use these tiny scoops you get with vitamin C powder and put one into the jar for easy dmt dosing. And i just keep it in a drawer in a place away from the window and from radiators. I think I will freeze mine sooner or later because I dont use much anymore. I once had a glass vial in my coat pocket. Whilst scrambling over some rocks it broke fairly easily. That said, the vial was fairly large and thin-walled. I suspect a smaller one would have survived the conditions. Equally so one with relatively thicker walls. Plastic + freebase? Best not to. “There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work." ― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli

Nowadays I mainly use backing paper, especially the smooth side inside, for transportation of all kinds of goodies. For longterm storage, beside of converting f.e. freebase into a more stable form like hcl, I recommend glass containers with additionally covered up walls, opaque glass or paper/aluminium foil, in dark and cool places. In the picture below you see n,n-dmt changa and 5-meo dmt hcl. tseuq tseuq attached the following image(s): transport.jpg (303kb) downloaded 49 time(s).Everything's sooo peyote-ful..
