Hey again guys, managed to break my monkeys 4 litre jar after his last Noman's extraction. Dont really have access to anymore and cant think of any to buy cheap... ive heard milk cartons (2 litres) can be used, however how would monkey go about separating the layer of oil from solution? Could he just pour it off? Also, he has a big CORK lidded jar, with holes in, he was wondering if he simply sealed the jar with clingfilm lightly, he would be able to get away with just letting the oil separate (without tipping upside down?). Thanks alot guys, been a big help for monkey in previous extractions

separate top layer crudely with a pippete/turkey baster, into a tall thin transparent container (like a drinking glass).. Its no problem if a bit of the black stuff comes together.. then with clean pippete/baster, separate again the top layer from the little bit acqueous alyer that might have come across to the glass, this time carefully (and will be much easier), to final evap/freeze precip container...

Yeah, i thought of this and had a look around for a turkey baster today, no luck! Not sure where i can buy one from, tried the local supermarket but with no avail! Im gunna try again tomorrow, but if not its not looking good, could monkey pour it out of the milk carton into a glass as you said, then slowly try to separate from the glass using a ladel sort of thing?

Thanks alot just ordered it, any idea on the the quality of their delivery? (says 5 to 7 days) - monkeys MHRB comes on monday!

Using milk jugs its possible to suck up the mixture with a pipette and squirt it down the hollow handle leaving a long thin separating column which can then be sucked up easier. Here you!!! Gonnaenodaethat
