So SWIM is thoroughly pleased his first extraction went so well and resulted in some great yields. However, it is quite harsh on the lungs for SWIM, and he would like to do a proper wash.

On the Wiki, this page on washing spice https://wiki.dmt-nexus.me/Washing_Spice claims that sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) can be used for washing spice. SWIM would like this to be true, considering that carbonate is not very easily attainable for him. Thoughts??

thanks

you can bake sodium bicarbonate in an oven at 392f(200c) for 1 hour to convert it to sodium carbonate

Soda Ash may also be available in some swimming pool stores (this is true in the UK, not sure about the US), also look for soda crystals, as this tends to be sodium carbonate also, where I live it is anyway.

Peace,

Macre.
