Greetings.
I have been re-reading the teks or some of the info about this art of alchemy and i couldn´t get it.
I start by explaining that my friend gato, needed some help from me cos his english is even worse than mine.
He had recently done his third pull by using heptane and he started by using 50g jurema, 50g lye and 850ml of water. To this he added aprox 60-75ml of heptane (making it easier for him to pull up the solvent into a syringe) and from his first pull he got 0.3g (300mg), of white fluffy snowflakes.
Before making his second pull he added 50ml more of water+lye solution(making a total of 900ml of basifyed water), after reading somewhere that this would be a good way to get more alkaloids from the dark solution. So he did that and then heated the solution with the solvent in it and after an half-hour or so he made his second pull and got out 0.2g more of fluffy flakes. A total of 0.5g of DMT!?
Well, after getting more spice than before he thougth that maybe it was a good idea to add more of the water lye mix, but then again, maybe this time the jurema had more DMT in it? That doesnt matter, he is glad that he mannaged to get more DMT out of the powdered bark. The only "bad" thing is that in his second pull he got one glasbowl of white fluffy flakes and the other one with more yellowish flakes.
So after reading a bit more he belives that this yellowish flakes has oils/fats in them. He's pretty sure it isn't lye (after seeing pics in here and after getting some orange/brownish dots in his past extraction.
So..so far so good, or??
My friend gato is happy that he got out more spice (assuming that all is spice?), than his first 2 experiments, but he is thinking of recristalize all his xtals and by doing so, get rid of something hehe. Maybe lye? Maybe DMT? But before he does it he wanted to know 2 things.
How much will he loose (in weight) after recristal...? (He's hoping to get a bit more spice out of his third pull-hehe)
And is it really necessary to recristalize? SWIM have read that it is an optional phase.
Well thats the thoughts my friend gato has at the moment and we hope you folks can help him out once again.
Saludos
