So I have it in a word document and now a PDF as well but neither i can upload in the attachment section because it only gives options for camera or photos. I have a Dropbox link for it but I would like to be able to post it here as well on a PDF / on wiki What you perceive, you conceive.

Click 'post reply'
Just below the text box there is a tick box saying "attach files to this post?". Tick it. Press reply. On the window that appears next you can upload your pdf

Hey LG why are you expecting on posting it a wiki right away? That's not the habit, let people look at it first, if it's really golden it can become a wiki no doubt.

Why not post your proposed methods in this very thread, adding the pictures as attachments? This way you can invite people to post their questions and suggestions to the specific relevant parts. After some review, a final version could be posted in a new thread as a specific crystallization tek. If it is really good and popular, it might even be made sticky. You speak of a more extended method, also involving reductions. I am not sure if that would fit the proper scope of crystallization techniques. Crystallization is often described by skilled chemists as an art in itself and IMHO warrants a good deal of loving attention on this forum. Even a good compilation of tips and tricks would make a wonderful contribution. Reduction of oxides (I assume) and other parts of your general workflow would better be discussed as separate items. A pdf or even a MS Word (a proprietary format ) does not seem to be the best primary format to publish this in on the nexus forum and wiki. Apart from the obvious reasons of breaking the plaintext transparency and the link-ability of the web standard and being opaque to the forum search engine, attachments are not visible to forum visitors who are not logged in. EDIT: Perhaps, instead of attaching images, you could even inline reference them after uploading to one of the many image hosting sites. IIRC the nexus forum software caches external images locally, so that the images will be preserved even if the external links go offline. It will also allow anonymous visitors to view the images.

Gotcha but the problem remains it won't let me choose the PDF to upload. Ah, I didn't know this, I thought you could just post to wiki when ready. What you perceive, you conceive.

Apple entirely failed to implement a filesystem in ios. Don't expect things to work on an ipad unless apple explicitly deemed it profitable for you and them. That is why people end up using abominations such as dropbox. As a workaround, you could email the content from the ipad to a real computer and to use that to upload it to the forum. Best would be to simply post the text and images on the forum without proprietary container formats. There is no added value to those on this forum.

I have posted the techniques and pictures as a new topic in the introduction essay section of the welcome area. I will get it online as a PDF soon too, just will be a few days or so until viable to do so. What you perceive, you conceive.
