I recently read an article from someone whos view on ayahuasca is quite contrary to the common beliefs about it as tool for healing, spiritual development and life enhancement.

http://www.lipstickmysti...m/ayahuasca-or-ayawaska/The author claimes to be a clairvoyant whose psychic abilities are well developed and what she basically writes is that ayahuasca is not suitable for people with western orign and that it will do damage to its users. The author writes that she is able to see the damage which is done by ayahuasca to the third eye and the unnatural acceleration of spiritual development following the use.
I do not really share her view although I think there might be a point in her writings. In most parts it is well written and has some pragmatism in it, yet there are parts of her writings which someone might interprete as slight form of arrogance of her to claim to know the real truth. Some parts are also kind of biased, like the argument about differences in genetics between western and indigenuous people. In my opinion she might be too confident and totalistic in her article.
I would love to start a discussion about this topic. It is hard to find negative views about the use of these ancient psychedelics which are not purely based on the lack of knowledge. I think it is important to be critical in building a point of view about the use of ayahuasca. Thats why negative information about it should also be considered.
