Thats a very special strain if you do.... Nice one  SWIM has one strain of Pachanoi that yields %3-3.5. But that number is cut in half once its cleaned

SWIM can tell no more than "yeah, it looks like Trichocereus, also looks like an active one, might be pachanoi/peruvianus/bridgesii" Other than gut feeling, which macro- and micro- characteristics make a cactus pachanoi, peruvianus or bridgesii? Can there be strains of peruvianus that look like pachanoi and vice versa? Need to calculate between salts and freebases? Click here! Need to calculate freebase or salt percentage at a given pH? Click here!

Infundibulum I would also like to have a nice discussion about identifying cacti as its a very wide open topic and there is a lot of misidentification especially when it comes to cacti. But there was such an awful attack launched about this very issue about Phluxs cacti in the past, I am afraid that it might come to that again. Hence why i thought it was best to just kindly state that this issue shouldn't be brought up again. Much Peace

I can certainly act civil. We don't need a bunch of drama. Let's talk about cactus and only cactus and keep personal insults out of it and have an open debate! Is IDing cactus really all that simple?
I've read a fair bit and seen a good few of them in my time, but I still can't tell the difference between the TP's.
Certainly isn't worth crying about though.. and that goes to all of you!
